When I do it I can't get drunk?.... I get lit but not hammered?... Ive been doing it alot lately but it amps me up.... For instance last night I had 20mg of dones 10mg norco and 15 beers, I felt fine and actually remembered the entire night?..... I felt great in the morning....... That's just me....

it is very poular and it isn't good for your body it makes you gain weight and rotten your teeth it makes u feel like every bone in your body is breakin after your on it a while like after 2 1/2 yrs

Methadone only causes water retention weight gain, (I lost 15 lbs of fluid when I quit), my teeth are just as perfect now as they were 5 years ago before I started methadone, and I've never broken a bone in my life (I'm 40), and my bones do not hurt. Where are you getting your "information"?

NO! Methadone doesn't even come in 180 mg pills, which is a dosage high enough to kill you. The maximum dosage that can be safely taken at one time is 20 mg, but the average dosage is 10 mg at a time. So in order to take 180 mg at one time, you would have to take 18 of the 10 mg pills, which would be fatal.

No. Even though they are both opiates, they are completely different and the mg's are different. Methadone has a much longer half-life than oxy-codone(percocet), so therefore it is much stronger. They both also have different euphoric effects or feelings. Oxy-codone produces a much more intense "high" than methadone, but methadone stays in the system for much longer and is usually used for people who are getting off opiates like Oxycodone.

Morphine / opiate dependence (not addiction) is a given for anyone who is on long-term opiate therapy, including a morphine pump. Addiction is rare in pain patients, as we have a true medical need for the drug.

The real problem with morphine pumps is that problems associated with them, which is the reason I opted for Duragesic instead. Aside from being another surgical procedure, the implants at the spine (where the drug is delivered) don't always successfully bond, and if they come loose, they have to go in and re-attach. There are also a lot of horror stories with patients who have had implants, only to find out that they had no legal recourse with the companies who make them.

Im trying to figure out the same thing. I know that if someone is taking water pills they increase the amount of methadone. So that leads me to believe that drinking large amounts of water with a dose of methadone will make it leave the body faster thus lessening the effects.

That is quite a cocktail of medications. If a person who did not have substantial tolerance to all three of these drugs, especially the opiates, are going to have quite a "pain free" day and perhaps the rest of their life will be pain free because that is a very pernicious combination and is potentially lethal depending on the doses of each drugs. I take 100 mg. of methadone and 6mg. of Xanex a day but I have been taking this combination for years and it has taken a while to work up to it. If you want to do anything with your life at all, this is a combination that is going to render you useless. I have been running a company where there are 50 employees who work for me and most of them have degrees and make six figures, so it can be done but when I added the morphine to the combo when I was in the hospital having surgery done, it was too much. I would get extremely loaded to the point of getting scared they were giving me too much medication. I was literally a danger to myself, so include dosages and be careful.

Morphine often has a euphoric effect, though occasionally it can actually produce disphoria. People with a high opiate tolerance also generally get much less euphoria from the drug than opiate naive individuals.

Lortabs will show up as opiates and Methadone will show up as Methadone because it requires its own specific test.
