There is no simple answer to that question. Every business and every presentation is different. So sometimes you would want a very formal presentation and sometimes it would not need to be so formal. You may use a template that is specifically for a particular company, so it might have a company name and logo on it for example. They may use it for all of their presentations. A presentation could have different sections, with each section using different designs. The audience can also be an influence on how a presentation is designed. So each presentation you make needs planning and careful thought and can be different.

Custom slide show

There are many different varieties of programs available that one can use to make slides. The most popular programs include Open Office Impress and Microsoft Powerpoint.

Go into the transitions or animations and increase the timings. The other thing to do is turn off the timer and just use progression by mouse click. Then you can move to the next slide or start an animation when you want to.

I personaly think, yes, you should. you really dont need too, but it is good if it is supposed to be professional. Also I want to recommend you to use quality template, diagrams and other features that you can download from poweredtemplate.com

Found this on another site...I went straight to #4 and it worked great.

There are at least four ways to do this in PowerPoint.

1) Cut and Paste

Select the current long dash, copy it (CTL + C) and then paste it where

you want (CTL + V)

2) Auto Correct

Type 2 hyphens (-) then a space then any letter then a space then delete

back to the long dash. Auto correct will sense the double hyphen and

replace it with a long dash.

3) Insert Symbols

While in the text box, click on Insert => Symbol... => (font) Times New

Roman and look most of the way down the grid for the dash 3 before the TM

symbol

4) Keyboard character shortcut

Press and hold the Alt key, then on the number pad type 0150 and release

the Alt key

Some online presentation softwares that are available are: Prezi, Slide Rocket, Pow Toon, Ajax Presents, Brink Pad, Empressr, Google Documents, Prezzo, Presentation Engine, PreZentit, Spresent, Think Free, Thumb Stacks, Vcasmo, Zoho Show.

In PowerPoint, the co-authoring function feature allows the user to share a presentation with other people.

You could press the Esc key to stop it. You can right click the mouse and bring up the shortcut menu and pick the option to end the show.

They have a lot of similarities. Both are powerful data preparation and statistical packages. Here, 'data preparation' means

Broadly, SPSS is easier to use and SAS is more powerful. SPSS can be run by code in the language it supports, but it also can be run through a powerful menu-driven facility; SAS has nothing like that.

SAS is harder to program, but supports effects that are awkward to get in SPSS, for example writing multiple files from a single pass through a single data stream.

A screenshot is a picture of your screen. You can get it by pressing the Print Screen button on your keyboard. You can then paste it into a Powerpoint presentation, or into other kinds of documents. Screenshots are handy for showing parts of your computer screen. You can get a screenshot of the whole screen and then crop it to show just the part you actually want in a presentation.

Using too much jargon means you are using words that may be unfamiliar to the audience.

Yes, they are the same. Powerpoint isn't for dealing with numbers generally, but you can set up tables of numbers and create charts from them, like you do in Excel.
