Yes, you can play Guitar Hero while using your wireless Xbox 360 controller. The wireless standard controller is all I play Guitar Hero with, the guitar is too complicated and the controller just makes everything easier. The only thing I haven't figured out about Guitar Hero when you use the standard controller is how you use the Whammy Bar. Otherwise, the controller is an excellent way to play Guitar Hero.

It's better to have it vertical because it decreases the surface area and reduces heat and therefore you'll have a better chance of avoiding the 'red ring of death'. Of course you do have to be careful of it tipping over.

They are both different game styles, Battlefield 3 is a first-person shooter and Gears of War 3 is a third-person shooter. If you like the Call of duty series, then Battlefield will be the best for you. If you like mass effect etc, Gears is best for you.

Microsoft has not fixed the Red Ring of Death globally. You have to get your 360 fixed individually. If, after you get it fixed, keeps becoming red, then I suggest getting a new Xbox 360, or buy a better game system such as the Wii.

Your question does not state your problem nor which wireless adapter you are having problems with.

If you are using a external wireless adapter for the older model Xbox 360, look at the light on the adapter. If red, this means no wireless connection is getting through, meaning that your network connection isnt setup right or your wireless adapter is damaged. If green, this means everything should be working fine and therefore your internet isnt working right or something was inputted wrong.

If you are using the duel wireless adapter, you will need to use the driver disk which came with it because it needs a driver to allow it to work.

If you are having problems with the Xbox 360 S wireless, you will need to contact Microsoft about this and they will either ask you to send your Xbox to them or send it back to your store (where you bought it from).

Something's wrong with it? lol, anyway, if everything is plugged in correctly and it still doesn't turn on, try plugging it in through different outlets in the house. Depends what game and gametype. in MW3, MW2, cod 4, and black ops, when you are waiting to respawn in hardcore Team deathmatch or search and destroy, you can look at your allies in a 3rd persoin view by pressing Y (for xbox that is). For MW2, there is a gamemode where you can play in 3rd person, but it gets frusterating.
