No it might be that you have an out dated mod that crashes to game or that you do not have something like modloader (which you need for most mods). Also when downloading mods make sure they are for your current version of minecraft or it will defiantly crash.

This is quit common,don't worry it probably means that notch has taken minecraft down for a bit to add updates that's why p ( had same problem myself) Hope this helped

Yep, you feed them raw fish and they will breed like any other animal.

Obviously you have single player commands installed, but no big this only means one feature of the mod is not working same here I always got the same message lolz.
