Download the map, and open a new window in Finder. The search for Library, and in that folder there will be another folder called Application Support. Look for the Minecraft folder, then open the saves folder and drag in the custom map. There are a lot of folders, but you can also put texture packs in similarly, but put them in texture packs instead of saves.

Yes Minecraft Will be for Xbox one it says on IGN.com that it will be coming out in March of 2014. It doesn't show a specific date and I'm assuming it will be $20

MC Forge will always use its latest version. Therefore, backup your Minecraft and install your second Forge. Forge will use its latest version.

A mob is a monster or animal e.g. pig or creeper. A mod is a downloadable moderation (hence mod) that enhances the gaming experience! I understand how you got these mixed up but they do have thoroughly different definitions.

Firstly, in order to make one, you need sufficient knowledge of how to program in Java. If you don't, there are plenty of online tutorials you could look up.

The rest depends heavily on what your mod is going to be. I would suggest looking up specific tutorials on YouTube for what you want to make.

Generally, making mods involves using the MCP to decompile Minecraft, editing the text folders, recompiling it, and making a folder with all the modified minecraft files in it.

Seeds are what the game uses to generate the raw terrain, they do not code for player-built structures or modifications. If someone makes a castle and then gives someone else the seed, all that person will get is the original terrain the first player had, before they started building.
