No typically the heart does not start beating until 6 weeks, but the way pregnancy is measured at "2 weeks pregnant" you aren't even pregnant yet, since most women ovulate 2 weeks after the first day of their last menstrual cycle. That would be when you are two weeks pregnant when you are just ovulating. So if you mean can you hear the heartbeat two weeks after you find out your are pregnant then yes, you should because you would actually be somewhere between 5-7 weeks along.

No its not viable I just went through that I was actually 7 weeks with that problem I was given the choice to either let the miscarriage happen or get the d&c.... so I went with the d&c

They can probably see the sac in the uterus, but they wont be able to see anything inside of it just yet. I went for one around 5 weeks and they said it was still to early to see anything inside it yet and for me to come back when i was around 7-8 weeks

You can't prepare for a miscarriage, it just happens. Just go to the doctor if it happens.

It depends where you are in the pregnancy - in the first trimester it may mean the LMP was incorrect and you are 2weeks further or less pregnant than you thought. In the third trimester it can mean you are having a large (or small baby) or it can mean the baby is not getting adequate nutrition and he maybe delivered early to prevent further growth restriction.

You should go to a doctor or midwife while pregnant there are so many dangers for you and the baby if you don't have medical help during a pregnancy

It's rare a 9yo has started ovulating but it happens. Carrying the fetus full term and give birth without problems is close to impossible I think. Her body isn't made for childbirth yet and her pelvis too narrow. They would also consider what it would do to her emotional and mental health to go through something like that. Anyone who got her pregnant is guilty of a crime.

If you've had your period for 6 weeks you need to see a doctor.

Your body is still set on pregnant and will be that for a while longer. The hormones haven't caught up yet. And yes you can get pregnant right away so protect yourself and you should wait 3-4 weeks until you have sex after a procedure like that since the risk for infections are higher. If you want to try again wait a few months to give it the best chance possible.

only may be days. or there could be other complications. i took a pregnanct dec 4 and 6th and they were both neg. but the following Tuesday i went to my dr we did a blood test and it was only at 158. a normal pregnancy should be in the thousands. the hormone levels double to triple every 24 to 48 hours. i went back in and now the hormone sits at 80. they believe that i misscarried. so jus keep going to the dr and getting blood tests done until you are in the safe zone.

Every person is different... However, I had the same thing happen to me. Tracking the dates of my cycle I thought that I was 8 weeks along when I made my first ob appt. When they did my ultrasound there wasn't a baby yet, the dr said I was about 4-5 weeks along. He said that I must have ovulated a lot later in my cycle than normal this time. Which he said doesn't normally happen. I am now 27 weeks along with ahealthy little girl. So don't give up hope yet. Good Luck now and in the future.

You are not alone. I have same problem. Brown discharge with no much pain. Had U/s on week 6 and saw a little beautiful life inside with 118bpm. Still getting discharge. Guess this is because the Uterus is stretching. Good luck to you.

From what I understand most miscarriages happen prior to entering your second trimester. Miscarriages are somewhat common, many doctors stating 1 out of 5 pregnancies end up in a miscarriage. It is usually not due to anything you did but natures way of ending something that wasn't meant to be. Also, remember that many of these the pregnant women don't even realize they had a miscarriage and mistake it for their normal monthly period. I had a miscarriage at 4 weeks and my doctor told me it was not uncommon and that a previous miscarriage will not make me more likely to miscarry again. Be positive and good luck.

While it is not very likely that ex-lax would cause a miscarriage, it is possible. The cramping which laxatives cause could theoretically cause uterine spasms and lead to a miscarriage. It would be best to talk to your doctor if you are having difficulties.

When i was 5 weeks they did a ultrasound after having a positive home pregnancy test and positive blood test. They said according to the size of sac i was only 3 weeks and they didnt see a embrio. Maybe a false pregnancy or the fetus stopped growing i went a week later to another doctor and they detected a embrio and the sac had grown in one week i will be four months so just give it a little time and maybe see another doctor.
