It's possible you removed it from your toolbar. Simply edit your toolbars and put it back.

This is simply a matter of opinion. Many argue that Firefox is the best browser because it is highly customisable with loads of add-ons available for free. I'm not sure you can however you could try using an application that will try to recover it since nothing is truly deleted because when you 'delete' something the computer just marks that storage as usable and as long as no new things have used that storage than its still there.

Apparently this is a temporary file created to help rich text editors copy and paste windows clipboard images. It's in the Mozilla Source Code, and nothing nefarious.

Firefox will create files called moz-screenshot.jpg when you paste images into rich text editors. It's possible you accidentally press the Print Screen button (which puts a screenshot on the clipboard) then pasted it into a text editor.

There is no definite way to measure this. Both have plenty of security holes, but most are patched quickly. There is no such thing as a 100% secure browser. Read reviews of each browser to determine for yourself. Running the browser in a sandbox or emulator such as Qemu will significantly improve security. Click on the search engine icon on the Firefox Search Bar to reveal the drop down menu and select "Manage Search Engines...".

Select the search engine that you want to delete.

Click on Remove then Ok.

Use the "Snipping Tool" found in the Accessories folder. From the (Start button/All Programs/Accessories/Snipping Tool). Drag a box around the target area, this puts the selected image on the "clipboard" for use in other applications (PowerPoint, Photoshop etc. Just use the paste function to insert the image.

Maybe this is because of an add-on that you have installed recently. Try disabling or uninstalling it.

Maybe your system's firewall is on so turn it off. Go to control panel then windows firewall.

Recent delepments in Windows (such as vista and 7) check first and ask permissions. A yellow banner appears at the top for you to allow it by clicking on it. Check this.

Security levels may be set too high. Check permissions in user account.

Yes you can if you ignore the warning that it gives you when you go to an infected site or if you go to a site that has not yet been reported. i had the same thing happen to me. but you usually only get viruses from sites that are for porn or hacking tools.
