No. It is a typecast Hollywood perception and a scientific fallacy. A twin means an identical, or a copy, thing. Even a duplicate from a Xerox copier has differences. No two, even identical looking, people are an exact twin. Manerisms, faint blemishes etc, will always be a difference. The rest is our simple perception of what a twin is.

If the latter is the case, it seems like it would be reasonable to assume that two amnions and thus two "waters" would have to break. But, again, I'm not 100 percent sure . . .
