I have one set of twins and want to know what my chances are at having a second set of twins?

These chances are very unlikely. Once you have one set of twins, your uterus is so small that it is small enough for only one child.

if you have a set of fraternal twins your chances of having a set again are high, i don't think uterus size comes into it. Fraternal twins are the result of 2 separate eggs being released (multi ovulation) and being fertilised by 2 separate sperm, fraternal twins run in familys but anyone can have them and the older you get the more likely you are to have a set of fraternals. Identical twins are the result of one fertilised egg splitting in 2 and this is completely random, identicals don't run in families

What causes twins to be conjoined?

When a fertilized egg doesn't completely spilt to become twins which happens with identical twins of the same sex.

Answer

The process is a mystery of nature, but starts out as Identical twins-which according to fixed biological laws, take the same gender. Something goes wrong in the replication process, and the twins are conjoined or literally joined together there are various points of attachment.

In some extreme cases one can have a Y-Job, that is one basic body with two heads, this is true of the sisters now living in the midwest, they are blondes, with two heads, two hearts, three lungs, and other anomalies.

Conjoined twins are always the same gender, two boys or two girls. they start out as orthodox identical twins, and then the wrong buttons get pushed. There are some staggering variations, as four arms no legs and the bodies joined in the center with two heads at opposite ends like a ferry boat, which are rarely viable.

Answer

Conjoined twins are formed when twins are somehow deformed in the major body formation of childbirth and form themselves together.

When identical twins should be formed, the egg (zygote) does not fully split therefore creating conjoined twins.
Siamese twins or conjoined twins are formed when a single fertilized egg splits and develops into two individuals. These individuals are born with some of their body parts joined together.
twins are conjoined due to the egg not completely splitting inside the woman
Well first ill start out as the sperm tha does not eat through the egg all the way and as 2 sperms eats the egg it can break but not all the way so in like about 3 dayz later ur prenant. And when u go c what it is ull c 2 heads sharin' the same organs.

Incomplete production or forming of normal twins. this also explains supernumerary appendages such as a Girl with Three arms I saw who worked in a department store. The third arm was short and stubby, but she had some control over it. a store in the same chain also had a camera vendor with only One arm, the shirt sleeve being tied back, it was strange.

Magic
When ordinary identical twins are created the egg splits in the womb and the two twins grow separately. In Siamese twins this does not happen properly and the two groups of cells (of each separate twin) grow around each other becoming fused forming a Siamese twin.

How do you pretend you have a twin?

Make pics of yourself doubled in two different outfits and places. To do this, you need to have your camera on a tripod and make sure that the lighting, and position of the camera is not different. Then, using Photoshop or Windows Paint, put your picks together into one.

In front of your friends act like one person and the next day, another. Dress differently to show the difference in personalises.

You can also make a video of yourself and your "twin" by filming a place twice, with yourself in a different outfit and place, just like the "twin pics" above.

Helpful hint: If you've ever seen the movie, "The Prestige", do the exact opposite of Borden and Fallon, both played by Christian Bale. If you have not, I'd recommend you do, but to save you the trip and money I'll explain: Do not try to make your two personalities similar, make them individuals, not all identical twins have the same brain. Make up a back-story for your "twin" explaining why you two can't be at the same place at once.

thankyou for answering my question!!

How is identical twins created in the mother's womb?

With identical twins, one egg (zygote) from the mother is fertilized by one sperm from the father, and then very early in development the embryo splits and two fetuses grow. Spontaneous division of the zygote into two embryos is not considered to be a hereditary trait, but rather a spontaneous or random event.

If the zygote splits very early (in the first 2 days after fertilization) they may develop separate placentas (chorion) and separate sacs (amnion). These are called dichorionic, diamniotic (or 'di/di') twins. While all fraternal twins are 'di/di', this occurs 20 - 30% of the time in identical twins.

Most of the time in identical twins the zygote will split after 2 days, resulting in a shared placenta, but two separate sacs. These are called monochorionic, diamniotic ('mono/di') twins. These twins are very similar genetically, and share a single afterbirth.

Very occasionally, twins will also share the same sac (fluid cavity). In about 1% of identical twins the splitting occurs late enough to result in both a shared placenta and a shared sac. These are called monochorionic, monoamniotic ('mono/mono') twins.
