I assume so as my MD has me on both, 10 mg escitalopram (lexapro) once daily and 10 mg cyclobenzaprine (flexeril) 3 times daily as needed for back pain/acute muscle spasm. As a suggestion, I would not try it for the first time if I had to drive or watch children or something important as the mix could make you very sleepy.

Start withdrawing the patient on diazepam (Valium), 15 to 25 mg four times daily. yes, you can...but only take the recommended dose. It will make you a bit sleepier, but not to bad, depends on how much ativan you take, I take three 1mg tablets a day every 6-8 hours and I took NyQuil and did just fine and Im 115pnds at 5'6 and 23 years old. yes i do it all the time and have been prescribed all these at the same time by my doctor just dont take to much and it does make me quite drowsy sometimes but it helps the pain i have from multi level degenerative disk and ruptured disk

Lexapro should be taken daily. Taper dose down slowly before ever stopping this medication, Xanax can be taken daily but can be addictive if taken for extented use. I recommend taking as needed. Ambien can be used for insomnia but not recommended for long term use. Use when necessary and limited use will insure effectiveness. Adipex can be used daily but diet and exercise more important. This drug will curb appetite but will cause anxiety and insomnia. Not recommended for long term use. Lexapro, Xanax, Ambien and Adipex can be used during the same day but again understand that the Adipex will cause insomnia, and anxiety and when this drug is eliminated, the need for Xanax and Ambien will diminish.

I take a few different tablets with me wherever I go and mention them to customs when I go through. They are in their original bottles with a description on them so far I have had no problem with it.

Flexeril can occasionally give withdrawal symptoms of nausea, headache, flu like feelings, and trouble falling asleep, if you have been on it for a while. I've been on 10mg for 2.5 years and haven't really slept in the last 3 nights since I stopped it despite taking other medications that normally knock me out. I recall this happening last time I stopped taking them after a prolonged period and it just faded over a few days. Taper off it if you can.

Oxycodone is an opiate derivative (more properly termed 'opioid').

Oxycodone is in the same chemical class as Morphine, Codeine, Heroin(diacetylmorphine), and hundreds of others.

These drugs bind to opiate receptors in the brain, and the intestinal tract, depressing respiration, relieving feelings of pain, and usually give off a feeling of euphoria or well-being.

Opiates, obviously, are highly addictive, and stopping opiate use can cause horrible physical withdrawal symptoms.

Carisoprodol is the active ingredient in the medication Soma, and works as a centrally-acting skeletal muscle-relaxant.

It shares no chemical relation to the opiates (Oxycodone), and works at completely different binding sites in the body.

Carisoprodol has, however, been shown to potentiate opiates.

Meaning that if a person were taking oxycodone AND Carisoprodol, the effects of the oxycodone would be stronger.

But, in short.. Soma contains Carisoprodol, and is in no way related to the opiates.

Yes, it does.

It is even sometimes prescribed for insomnia to take advantage of it's ability to make you drowsy - although insomnia has also been reported as a side-effect in some people taking it for other reasons.

Drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, or headaches are known possible side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Both of these medications are part of the Bendo family of drugs and are usually prescribed for mild to severe anxiety. Both of these medications have a calming affect that help settle ones nerves and anxious feelings. Usually one of these medications should dull the affects of an anxiety attack but if the dosage is low (Diazepam 2mg for instance, or Clonazepam .5mg) than maybe you need a higher dosage of either medication (Diazepam comes in 5mg and 10mg and Clonazepam 1mg and 2mg). Increasing the dosage would most likely treat your anxiety much better and would not force you to take both Diazepam and Clonazepam together. But if you are in a situation in which you can not increase your dosage than taking both together would be ok, since both do basically the same thing but just watch out for an overdose and the side effects. I take 6mg of Alprazolam (Xanax) a day one 2mg Xanax 3x daily and also 2mg of Lorazepam (Ativan) 1x daily. I have also been on Diazepam (Valium), 10mg Valium 5x daily. I have taken these medications together and have had no problem but the side effects will increase. Also another point to take into consideration is if you have ever taken any of these medications and have built up a tolerance or if it would be your first time taking the drug. If it would be your first time I would suggest that you stick to one at a time, see what each one does to you, the side effects and overall just how you feel. Once you have a feel for both then use your own personal judgment as to whether or not you should take both at the same time.

5 mg of diazapam is perfect for anxiety.I have tried 10mg and its to strong.In my opinion when i take a 5mg for my anxiety its perfect.I do not take them every day only when i feel my anxiety coming.
