What is the statute of limitations in Nebraska?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The statute of limitations is to prevent one from being accused of a crime when the witnesses may no longer be available and defense difficult. A traffic ticket is a notice of violation. In this case, you have already been notified of the violation and have not defended against it in the time allotted. As such, a traffic ticket does not expire and is not subject to a statute of limitations. Some jurisdictions will stop trying to collect, or declare on amnesty on tickets on a specific time frame.

The Hallam, Nebraska tornado caused damage the same way that other tornadoes do: though powerful winds and flying debris. Drinking age change to 21?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

In my opinion, the legal drinking age should remain at 21 in the United States.

History and statistics often show that minors are not quite responsible enough to know when to say when. When I was young I feel I was in the majority. And I feel the majority of youth was simply to push everything to the limit. Rules, laws, parents, and drinking were all pushed to the limit. I believe only a small percentage of youth actually are mature enough to say no. Legalizing drinking at a younger age would only overflow into more drunk drivers on the roads. Review statistics of youth and drunk driving and just read any blog you come across. Usually the common factor is lack of experience behind the wheel combined with immaturity and recklessness. Those 3 combined are reasons enough to not lower the drinking limit.

All the professor's have the highest degree in their field they teach, and only the professor teaches the class; never a teachers aid. I was told they are the "Harvard of the Midwest." I am not sure of the validity of that statement, however, I can tell you it is a highly respected school academic wise. I would say they are one of the best schools in Nebraska if not the best.
