Once you reach Moltara, click on the cave on the right side which will lead you to the other part of Moltara. The Magma Pool will be there, but there is a guard guarding it. There are two ways of getting into the Magma Pool:

1.) The guard says that you have to be well-versed in the ways of Moltara, which means you have to read a number of Moltara books. The guard will let you in because of that.
2.) You wait each hour (sometimes minutes) for the guard to be asleep. The guard is sleeping randomly and at different times for each user. Also, the time could be at a beginning of and hour, or the beginning of a minute. (for example: My Magma Pool time is 3:27pm.)
The best thing you can do is refresh every hour and hope he's sleeping. And like I said, the time he is sleeping is totally random.
