DG Mods offers aftermarket rubber accessory kits on Ebay for Oakley Juliet, Penny, and other models of the Oakley X Metals.
These are the temple rubber pieces on the Oakley Half Jacket sunglasses.
1. Remove the lenses. This makes it easier to grip the frame.
2. The ear piece snaps into the front of the frame - gently twist the ear piece out of the main frame. This is easiest if you hold the frame and push down on the ear piece. The ear piece will snap out of the frame. There are no screws or anything to push. Be sure to hold the ear piece very close to the frame hinge.
3. Replace the temple rubber pieces. Slide off old, slide on new. Use hand sanitizer, not soap, to help get the new piece on.
4. Snap the ear piece back into the frame. Just the opposite action as removal.
5. Replace the lenses.
A smaller size and shorter lenses.(just a guess) also maybe a lens thats less vertical more horizontal. I wouldn't buy Asian fit because regular oakleys are fine.
push the lens from inside tward the outside while streaching the plastic....hard to explain but you can go on youtube and see how to do it
depends how close they are to your face (if light can get behind them) my friend has them and its not that bad but u can get new lenses from oakley or walleva or visionarylenses
Polarization and UV protection is completely different. Every lens available in an Oakley sunglass offers 100% UVA, UVB, and UVC protection as well as protection against harmful blue light. Even a clear Oakley lens offers that same protection. So yes, polarized or not it will offer the uv protection.
It depends on how big (or long) of a half shield you want. They are basically the same shield except the vr904 is smaller (or shorter) from top to bottom, meaning it covers less of your face.
That being said I prefer the smaller vr904, I like the way it looks on my helmet better. I wear one to protect my eyes and it does the trick.
My suggestion is try them on if you can that is the best way to decide.
Personally I like the Hybrid lenses, but it's all a matter of personal preference. A note on the colors: iridium lenses scratch REALLY easily, so be careful with them.
"X-Metal" is a mixed metal oakley makes it contains 25 different types of metal althought Titanium is one that they use a little higher precentage, they are made below sea level due to extreme temperatures and the cooling process if any moisture hits the metal before its cool it will explode. they also use a special type of mold that has to be made for every pair due to the heat it destroys the molds each time one pair is made.
1) Brand name
2) Material-Oakleys are light weight and strong.
3) Oakley takes time to align the lenses so they dont distort vision.
This question doesn't make sense. Oakley versus Oakley. A one-piece lense versus a one-piece lense. The Conduct is built to be light and the Oil Rig is built to be rugged-looking. So if you want something light go with conducts if you want something a bit heavier go with oil rigs. Both glasses are typically worn by "tools" especially if you ask for them in white
SI is the "Standard Issue" line, subdued colors and matte finishes for military and other service uses (police etc)
go see THE X-MAN at thexmancustoms.com.he repairs the x-metal nosebridges and has tons of great reviews.
As far as I've been told, YES. They are the same frames with different nose pieces (nose bombs). The Asian fit frame is the exact same frame but has bigger nose pads that elevate the glasses off the face more effectively on the Asian face. You may want to call Oakley and confirm this though.
In the Asian fit line, some frames are completely different while others are the same and only the nose pads have been changed. For example, the straight jacket Asian fit frame are the same as the regular ones, and only the nose pieces are different (thicker).
Fake Zegna suits have a blocked, capital letter "E" on the label (Ermenegildo Zegna); the label of genuine Zegna suits sport the look of a long-tailed serif on the "E" (sticking out to the left at the top of the letter).
