The last ten Summer Olympics were London (2012), Beijing (2008), Athens (2004), Sydney (2000), Atlanta (1996), Barcelona (1992), Seoul (1988), Los Angeles (1984), Moscow (1980) and Montreal (1976).

The last ten Winter Olympics were Sochi (2014), Vancouver (2010), Torino (2006), Salt Lake City (2002), Nagano (1998), Lillehammer (1994), Albertville (1992), Calgary (1988), Sarajevo (1984) and Lake Placid (1980).

Speed skaters Clas Thunberg of Finland and Roald Larsen of Norway each won 5 medals at the 1924 Winter Games in Chamonix, the first ever Winter Olympics. Each man won a medal in all 5 speed skating events ... Thunberg won gold in 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters, and all-around, silver in 10,000 meters, and bronze in 500 meters. Larsen won silver in 1,500 meters and all-around and bronze in 500 meters, 5,000 meters, and 10,000 meters.

1) Rodney Wilkes - silver in men's featherweight class at the 1948 Games in London and bronze in men's featherweight class at the 1952 Games in Helsinki. Wilkes was the first athlete from Trinidad and Tobago to win an Olympic medal.

2) Lennox Kilgour - bronze in men's middle-heavyweight class at the 1952 Games in Helsinki.

The name of the judges (of which there were about ten it is unclear how many there were exactly) was the Hellanodikae. They supervised the events, and also the oath that the athletes took, prior to competing. This oath was to certify in front of an ebodyment of Zeus, that the athlete had been in training for ten months. This was in fact the entire year during the ancient dynasties. you can win one gold medal for each round of each sport, i dont know how many sports they're are but you can win one Gold, Silver and Bronze in each one, however many there is?

1) Anton Heida of the United States won 5 gold medals in gymnastics at the 1904 Games in St. Louis.

1) Eric Heiden of the United States won 5 gold medals in speed skating at the 1980 Games in Lake Placid.

Through the 2008 Games in Beijing, 91 (20 gold, 25 silver, 46 bronze).

Torben Grael has won the most medals of any Brazilian athlete with 5 (2 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze). These medals were won in keelboat sailing. He competed in 6 Olympic Games (1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004) and won a medal in each one except for 1992 when he finished 11th.
