The 2008 olympic games we be held in all different places of Beijing. Ther will be a place for swimming (THE WATER CUBE). And there is the Birds nest. The most popular. but there is many more places then them two. all i wonder is, where will BMX be held.

Over the past three Summer Olympics:

1) China has won 30 total diving medals (18 gold, 8 silver, 4 bronze).
2) Russia has won 13 total diving medals (2 gold, 5 silver, 6 bronze).
3) Australia has won 10 total diving medals (2 gold, 2 silver, 6 bronze).

The winter Olympics were held in France in the following years:

1924 - Chamonix, France

1968 - Grenoble, France

1998 - Albertville, France

Yes both males and females can compete in downhill skiing.

The location of the Olympic games in Greece originated in Olympia, Greece. The ancient Olympics were held in Athens,Greece at the Parthenon.The modern day Olympics that have been held in Greece were held at the Olympic Stadium in Athens.

The 1992 Winter Olympics were held in Albertville, France and the 1992 Summer Olympics were held in Barcelona, Spain.

However, if the Olympics are held in an English-speaking or French-speaking country, such as the United States or France, then the proclamations are only spoken in English and French.

i don't known why was the olympic of 1940 and 1944 cancelled

Unfortunately, no it is not currently. There has been some talk of it being in the future though and i sure hope it is!
