Can marijuana help with opiate withdrawl symptoms?
Only if it's high-grade, and even then it only helps for maybe 30 minutes. Try to find an indica-dominate strain over a sativa-dominate one, as indica gives you more of the "couch-lock" downer high, and sativa is more uppity. It will help slightly with aches and pains, as well as insomnia. It'll get your mind off of things too for a while, but one of the most important things it does in my opinion is help you to eat! Of course everyone's different, I'm only reporting my experience.
Dear Swelling,
I am not a nurse nor a doctor but I have taken several medical classes. According to my education, when the menstrual cycle approaches and occurs the body is retaining excessive amounts of fluid (hence the reason for many PMS pills that control water weight gain and bloating)it is almost like the body is dehydrated and holds excess fluid to compensate. So this is definitely a normal side affect but the extent of your problem may question the issue of seeing your physician.

Morphine toxicity may result from overdosage but because of the great inter-individual variation in sensitivity to opioids it is difficult to determine an exact dose of any opioid that is toxic or lethal. The presence of pain or tolerance tends to diminish the toxic effects of morphine. Published data suggest that in a morphine naive, pain-free individual, the lethal dose would be in excess of 120mg. Patients on chronic oral morphine therapy have been known to take in excess of 3000mg/day with no apparent toxicity.

Can you drink after opiate addiction?
If you have an addiction problem, it is going to be up to you to decide what you can and cannot do. Being addicted to opiates may sound very different than being addicted to alcohol, but addictive thinking and behaviors are pretty much all the same. It doesn't matter that much what the substance is - an addiction is an addiction.
That being said, if you are trying to overcome and opiate addiction, it's a petty bad idea to drink alcohol. Alcohol impairs your judgment tremendously. Not only are you at risk for drinking more heavily and replacing your opiate addiction with alcohol, but you are at risk for going back to opiates. If you drink too much, there is no telling what someone will do. If you are going to try to bet opiate addiction, my best advice would be to stay completely and totally clean and sober.

Is opiate a cholinergic antagonist?
No, opiates are not cholinergic antagonists. Opiates are a class of drugs that primarily act on the opioid receptors in the brain to produce pain relief and euphoria. Cholinergic antagonists, on the other hand, block the action of acetylcholine at cholinergic receptors, affecting processes like muscle contraction and neurotransmission. Therefore, opiates and cholinergic antagonists have different mechanisms of action and effects on the body.
