As you can see both drugs metabolize into many different variations. When it comes down to an ordinary drug test, all these variations can be tested for and distuinguished from eachother, but the test results itself may just show positive for Opiates, or it may display the metabolites as well, indicating both Oxymorphone and Oxycodone use.

The most prescribed strength for Percocet is 325mg Tylenol and 5mg oxycodone, the opposite of what you wrote.

However to answer your question, there are quite a few narcotic pain relievers, some work better for some people and others work better for other people. But Dilaudid (hydromorphone), Opana (Oxymorphone) and Fentanyl are some of the strongest. Although Fentanyl is only available in a transdermal patch or a "lolly pop" type preparation which you let disolve in your mouth. These two drugs contain the same ingredients. The difference is that oxycodone is fast acting, peaks within several hours, and wans in about 4 hours. Oxycontin is a sustained release tablet that continues to work for 12 hours.

If it's a complete lab test done, then yes, it can distinguish between all the opiates, all the benzodiazpenes (sp?) Most drug tests will just show up as "opiates" in your system, but it depends on how many the panel checks for. The smallest ones are 3, I know with drug tests if you're in trouble with the law they only do a five panel test. It depends if the oxycodone has aspirin in it. Percodane has aspirin in it. Try percocet, which uses acetaminophen instead of aspirin. By the way, be careful with opiates, they are veryaddictive.
