My doctors have had me on both fentanyl patches, fentanyl citrate suckers, and oxycodone for years. There has been no problems.

Both are very addictive. How addicted you get depends on personal preference from person to person. High dosages of Percocet and Lortab have very similar effects, they both feel like morphine with very slight differences. Some people get sick on Lortab but not on Percocet, and vice versa. Percocet is slightly easier to take considering it is a tablet and not a syrup, so for some people that might be a minor deciding factor.

The ingredients may have weakened due to degredation with age, so you might notice a decrease in therapeutic response (alleviation of pain), but that's about it.

yes, there are no drug interactions between the two... naproxen (similar to ibuprofen) is even added to some oxycodone mixtures... ibuprofen will at most increase the analgesic effects of oxycotin...

Neither in and of itself is damaging to the liver. Opioids are some of the safest drugs available as far as organ health goes. However, anything taken in excess can be damaging.

Sometimes oxycodone is prescribed with Tylenol, and when this is the case it is the Tylenol that can damage the liver, if taken in excess.

As always, take these meds as prescribed and you should have no trouble.

i took one almost two days before my drug test and passed it. i actually took alot i think liike 2 30 mg percocets and some hydrocodones and passed my drug test for a job. it was a mouth swab test... so im guessing so.

Vitamins will certainly help with the malnutrition you usually get if you've been abusing drugs. It won't really help the shakiness, nausea, diarrhea, etc - your doctor can give you some medicine to help, and can help you cut down on the Oxycontin every day in a safer fashion so that you don't have so many withdrawal symptoms! So long as the Physician avows that his or her judgment is clear and un-impaired, he or she can, in many states and jurisdictions, continue to practice medicine and examine patients.

PRACTICAL ANSWER:

If you KNOW your Physician is taking morphine, a morphine-like drug or OxyCodone type drugs because he or she TOLD you-- consider the fact that the Doctor TOLD you of his/her own free will. And if they told WHY or for what they are taking the drug and you are comfortable with the reason (ie: pain releif from pain from cancer) then decide for yourself whether you continue to trust this person and whether you still feel comfortable with this person.

If you KNOW your physician is taking drugs of ANY kind and they did nOT tell you, but you see CLEAR evidence of impairment or unsettling behavior, then you should worry about Impaired Judgment. And if there is a risk of impaired judgment or the doctor's behavior makes you uncomfortable, trust your gut feeling and seek another physician and request your records to the new practice.

dont do it... xanex is a benzo. XANEX AND METHADONE have a very high potential for a DEADLY combination, as do all benzos w methadone. talk to your dr about mixing the others.

the hydrocodone and percocet will show up in the drug screen as the same thing so if you have prescribed percocet and valiums than dont worry about the lortab.....

I definitely wouldn't advise it. My best friend overdosed and died mixing Oxycontin and heroin. So please just don't do it`.

Hi i too take 90mg of oxycontin due to my spine crumbling. I know how you feel as these tablets are adictive i have been taking these tablets for over 11years. the person who wrote "she hopes it haunts you for the rest of your life" is so wrong how would she feel if she was in your persition would she stop the tablets. i think you should go and speak to your doctor and listen to what they think, It is your disistion after all dont come off the tablets just for the sake of it because of what one person says. Its your body and if you need these tablets for medical reasons then keep taking the pills

Taking supplements naturally messes with your thyroid levels, so no, you shouldn't take them while trying to correct your levels. The pain killers shouldn't harm your thyroid levels though, depends on the pain killer though.
