Oxycontin heroin hydrocodone, and SUBOXONE are ALL opiates. when taking a drug test they will all show up the same. So even though you haven't used Oxycontin if you have used suboxone then you will still fail a drug test and show up positive for opiates.

OK, really? No.....Suboxone is NOT an opitate. It is a narcotic (schedule 2 ). It is an antagonist. And......when a doctor tests your urine, there are several different ways to test. A 3 panel, 5 panel, and 7 panel. Oxycodone will actually show oxycodone, methadone will show methadone, hydrcodone will show that. If you wanna get technical, half of the wonderful world of drugs is an opiate. This is the reason why tests these days report specifics. If you are prescribed suboxone, you WILL be tested for all drugs. Opiates will always have a divided report. Any ethical doc will test you every week or more when giving you suboxone. Why the hell would they try to treat you with something that shows up the same way in a test than what you're supposed to stay off of!?!

Now snorting them is an extremely dangerous way for at least 2 main reasons.

1. you are taking all the milligrams of oxycodone at a much faster absorption rate which means you can easily overdose much quicker.

2. the effects of the powder hitting the insides of your nostrils at high speeds are like little rocks or granules that slowly tear away at your nasal tissues and can lead to a hole through your nostrils, especially if it has acetaminophen in it, and cause long term lung damage from the powder being trapped in.

if u abuse them at least take them orally compared to snorting. but dont abuse them at all.

An "addict" to a narcotic is probably already dosing with multiple psychoacting medications - which is why their livers and kidneys fail. What do you mean by "work"? Are you trying to "undo" the effects of oxycontin?

Aside from a foul taste in your mouth, there doesn't seem to be a major difference in the amount of time that either chewing or swallowing whole has on the reaction time of the medication. About two weeks later I had shooting pain in my lower back and wanted relief as soon as possible. So I chewed two pills and swallowed (unfortunately without any water as I was in a car en route to home). The logic I had for chewing the percocets was based on the medical advice often given for people suffering from a heart attack; chew an aspirin as opposed to just swallow. I'm not a doctor, but it would be logical that chewing breaks down the pill faster allowing the medication to be processed by your body quicker. As far as looking for a high for recreational purposes, I would urge you to find another means. Just watch a medical commercial or magazine advertisement; there are a ton of side affects (which usually leads one to take other medications to help their new ailments...in the case of percocet or any of its family members like aspirin, vicodin, etc. you will probably get ulcers). These are made by pharmacies in Florida that do compounding and are real oxy 30s with 5mg of dextrose. They are also usually mixed with ginger or vanilla to discourage snorting or injecting. You would run the risk of overdosing on central nervous system depressants. That could lead to anything from getting really messed up to death, with coma and permanent brain damage in between. Not smart.

The oxicodone is much easier to get off of. The oxicotin took me a week to get off and it was very very painful, I could not sleep for 4 days I was like a zombie. Had shakes really bad and was dilusional also. DO not get on oxicotins

As far as I remember Suboxone works by blocking the opiod receptors so I would guess any dose of it, especially a higher one would eliminate any chance of an opiate high for at least 12 hours. I could be wrong.

Rather than taking 1 perc every 6 hours and having zero blood level at the end AND if you were (or are) a drug abuser that wants to control their problem... Take 1/2, then instead of waiting 6 hours (or 4 hours) take the other half 3 hours later (or 2 if it is q4h - every 4 hour script). It is better pain control, won't spike blood levels and then go to zero, won't induce cravings. You have half the blood level so you may have to start with 1/2 or another 1/2 to get started, then as I said do another 1/2 when needed. If you are a drug addict in recovery a script is not a license to take meds "EVERY so many HOURS", it is for pain, if you do it PER THE SCRIPT, because the doctor said so, you are setting yourself up for a relapse at the end of the script. SO USE 1/2 at a time!!! Anyways, it is much better pain control than using a whole and going to zero, watching the clock, getting (perhaps) a twinge of "I WANTS IT...". If your pain ain't so bad put it off BUT be careful. It is far better to get meds in you BEFORE the pain gets bad than waiting too long, letting it get bad and then trying to control it, especially using 1/2 a perc. GOOD LUCK.
