Can you be Christian and pagan?

Yes. I believe in God and Lucifer and that Jesus was the messiah and stuff. I agree with most the stuff in Catholicism (the religion i was raised in) but things about the pagan religion seem close to what i believe as well... I often feel closest to God when I'm meditating, most at peace when I'm just out in nature. I believe that's because God created nature so that's where I'll find him rather then in the prayers I say at church. It's almost a 50-50 split on what i believe in from both religions.

What can you legally do if a sociopath practices black magick against you and doctors won't believe you because they think you have schizophrenia?

You can get a temporary restraining order from your local police department. That can be made a permanent restraining order after a judge hears both sides. The judge can decide to extend the temp. order or make it a permanent order. If you feel threatened or are fearful, a judge will more than likely grant the order. Answer: If you can't get the police department or a judge to do anything, or if the person is practicing his/her magick from a distance, you can also go to a local witch or to a pagan supply shop, and ask for help. These people are not permitted to ask for more money than their supplies and overhead cost, and they can reverse spells.

How do brass dowsing rods work?

Dowsing rods of all makes work in the vibrational pull of all things in the universe.

Brass dowsing rods are L shaped rods that usually have a sleeve that the "handles" fit within.

The sleeves are grasped loosely in the hands of the dowser. The short part of the rods fir within the sleeves and the long parts of the rods extend in front of the dowser's body, more or less parallel with the ground and oriented straight forward from the dowser's body.

A question is asked or the "search" is expressed and the dowser moves slowly forward.

As the Dowser's body comes closer to the "object of the search" the rods will start to swing in the sleeves. When you are directly over the object the rods should cross.

The process is a bit more complex than I have described, but that is the basics of how they work.

Is it okay to burn a broken taper candle?

For a mundane purpose, you can repair a broken candle by lightly heating and fixing it. For a ritual purpose it wouldn't be appropriate. You could melt the whole candle and make it in to a new one. Remove the candle wick out from candle. Break the candle to pieces. Roll a piece of cardboard around a PVC pipe. Put the candle wick through the pipe. Take the wick out of one side, leave a little length of cardboart out of the PVC pipe and tie it together with another string. Now take out the PVC pipe from the card board mould. Heat and melt the wax in a metal container and pour to the mould. Let it cool down slowly and pour more wax. Let it cool down slowly under the sun light for about half an hour. Keep the wick streight by tying to a piece of stick. When it is cooled down for another half an hour indoors, remove the mould and you have a new candle!
