The reason that Assembly of God, Church of God and yes, some Baptist churches believe that salvation can be lost is because salvation is not a license/ticket to sin. Yes, we do have an advocate with the Father, but becoming a Christian means surrendering your life to Christ and following Him as closely as possible. We do make mistakes, but we are to resist temptation. One of the previous posts states that one cannot lose salvation because the scripture in Romans states that nothing can separate us from the love of God. That is true.
