If you've had regular periods before and suddenly cease having them then yes, you probably are pregnant and should see a doctor right after for the safety of not only your baby, but yourself. There can be different medical conditions that can cease periods such as birth control, Anorexia, etc. It's best to see your doctor to find out the real reason why you aren't having your period.

This is so bizarre because I have been having the exact same symptoms. I am 19 days away from my next period, have been constantly fatigued, and haven't eaten anything really for the past 3 days. I haven't changed my diet or any other routine. I would love an answer to this question.

Depending on what your doctor believes it may/may not be safe to jump into another pregnancy right after having a miscarriage. A miscarriage is a hard thing to come back from and you might not want to jump back into something that your body might not be ready for. I would suggest taking some time off for you and then when your health and spirits are back up, talk to your partner about what affect this will have on you guys if you decide to try again.

I think it is wonderful that you want to try again, I wish you all the luck in the world. But just do yourself a favor and take a couple weeks off and just focus on you and your health. It will make you stronger in the future when you try again.

An i had my last period on the 20th June 2010 an I'm already a month late i took a pregnancy test an came back negative i am 21 an been with my fiance for 4 years an been doing it with out protection an never been pregnant before to him i think i might be pregnant but the tests keep coming back negative i don't know wot to do i am have stomach cramps like period pains but not bleeding an i can't understand it I'm not stressed at all just never known my body act like this before i have some pregnancy symptoms like strong sence of smell , tired , sickness , hungry more , tender breasts , Frequent urination , feet swollen , hot an cold flushes , missed period. But might not be pregnant but all my family had the same things during their early pregnancy's an my mother an sisters pregnancy showed up negative an might be same for me the doctor told them it might be due to low hormone levels but i just want to find out if i might be or not or might it be somethink else

I just went through a miscarrage on 2-08. Its the most horrable thing to go through. I started bleeding on the 15th of feb. light bleeding. Then it got really heavy and I had bad intense pains in my lower stomach and bleeding that last 5 to 6 days. And I was wondering the same thing your wondering when should my period start after my miscarrage? Its different for every women but i didnt get my period until march 24th of 08 and starting haveiing the miscarrage on the 15th of feb of 08. Don't freak out, especially if you are young or only just got your first period. Your menstrual system constantly changes due to the length of the months etc. as long as once you become regular it is around the same date every month you should be fine!

I think this is known as a blighted ovum.The sperm and ovum meet but not properly. You get a hormone surge, sign and symptoms of pregnancy but negative preg test. Its a real cheat.

Hi I'm in the same situation kind of I'm having pains which are similar to period pains and I got them one night and I remembered it not the only time I got these weird usual pains just kinda like period pains a week before on and off they were. I know that girls can still get pregnant even still being on a pill I'm not on the pill. The other day though I did get pains like period pains which was a week ago and I really thought I was coming on which I didn't. It bit strange in a way cause this has never happened before usually i get pains then start my period. Some girl said it was cramps before getting period but that wasn't what I was asking I wrote as a question period pains but no period and 1 of them put cramps and the other said you get them before you start. I know all that still I haven't got my period and I had period pains.
