There's no way to answer without knowing what engine you have and whether or not a block off kit has been installed. I'd suggest asking the owner. Most likely, it's 50:1 if a block off kit has been installed and variable from 50:1 (at idle) to 100:1 (at wide open throttle) if the factory oil injection system is still being used.

If the water supply is a bit too strong it can over fill the wet box - the section of the exhaust that the cooling water is dumped into to cool the exhaust gasses and help with silencing. "no the sx is a different hull than the older js series skis" NOT TRUE. The only thing different on a 550sx compared to the older JS550 is the pump and drive shaft. Then, after 1991, Kawasaki used a 550cc reed engine as opposed to the older piston port engine. THe ride plate, intake grate will work on both the 550sx and JS models. The hulls are the same. The 1up setting points the jet up, this assist the ski in keeping a level ride when you have 2 people on board, it forces the rear of the ski down which raises the front to help the ski "plane" quicker The neutral setting is for general 1 person use, the jet is running parrelel to the ski. No matter the brand (Yamaha, Seadoo, Kawasaki) a personal water craft should not steer more to right or the left. The jet steering may just need to be adjusted. Take it to your local service center.
