Yes there are places in the UK where Virgin mobile phones can be purchased. You can purchase a Virgin mobile phone at a Nokia store in UK. They also have a store that specifically sells Virgin mobile phones.

its free, all you gotta do is go to any corporate owned att store and ask for one. if you go somewhere like radio shack or frys they will charge you.

There are numerous cool phones, but the Google Android, iPhone, and T-Mobile G1 are at the top of the coolest phones, and are also at the top of the market. I think a really cool phone is the Flipshot by Verizon. It is soooo cool. it is a 3.0 megapixels and the top part of the phone can flip!!!WOH!!!! and when you have the top part flipped and put it down, it is an automatic camera!!! COOL! I KNOW!

If you look on your tariff's website and search it, it might come up with how to do it but if not you can always go into the nearest store and ask someone there, that's what I did

If you are on t-mobile just text MONTHBB to 441 for one month bbm or 6MONTHBB to 441 for 6months

The program is called SIM Manager, it is compatible with all types of SIM cards - 2G, 3G, R-UIM and Nextel. Once you read the data from one card, you can write it to any other supported card type.

Note that a Nextel phonebook entry has many properties (name, number, mobile number, email, etc), while GSM cards only have a name and a number - so naturally, some of your Nextel entries will be mapped to more than one GSM phonebook entries.

I have been wondering this same question also. With my broken att goPhone I transferred the sim to a working RAZR v3 and an ATT Tilt. Niether of them worked as they both said no service. So the answer is NO.

This depends on your carrier. I'm uncertain about how long all the carriers hold them. All I remember is that Verizon Wireless holds onto them the longest - 48 hours. Then all of them are purged from the system.

However, if you have AT&T and the message hasn't been delivered, it can remain active up to 72 hours (meaning if they don't have there phone on for longer than 72 hours they won't ever get it)

If this happens repeatedly, the one friend with the Verizon Wireless phone that is having problems receiving needs to check their account to make sure it is provisioned correctly and update their phone by dialing *228 SEND option 2. If still having trouble, this friend needs to have their phone looked at.
