after you get cut from the captain of the ship in vermilion city, go through diglets cave all the way up twords pweter city and you'll find an aide looking like guy and a guy how wants to trade for mr. mime, go down from there and there will be a passage way like the one to the viridain forest and the aide is in there, you need to have caught 10 kinds of Pokemon

The starter's in Pokemon LeafGreen are Bulbasaur, which is Grass/Poison type. There is Charmander the Fire type, his final evolvtion is Charizard a Fire/Flying type. And finally there is Squirtle which I don't recommend. He is a Plain Water type. I recommend Charmander because it has a great moveset. My Charizard knows the move's Flamethrower, Wing Attack (Has a lot of PP and I already used Aerial Ace on my Dragonite), DragonClaw, And Earthquake. Unless you want to use it on another pokemon, then use BlastBurn or FireBlast. I hope i helped.

When you go to the battle frontier, you can make copies at the battle tower by giving a rare candy to a Pokemon and sumbiting it to a battle and then turning off the power

note that this does not copy the Pokemon as well

well pretty much you don't need codes for that game. its perfect in every way shape in form. there is even a glitch to catch mew! here is where all the legendary Pokemon are and how hard to catch.

Moltres - victory road - slightly hard to catch - level 50

Zapdos - Power Plant - hard to catch - level 50

Articuno - Seafoam Islands - very hard to catch - level 50

Mewtwo - cave next to curelean city (not mount moon) - extremly hard to catch - (knows recover) - level 70

Mew - curelean city (you tube: how to catch mew in Pokemon yellow) - not so hard to catch - level 8 (DONT MAKE IT FAINT!!!)

Ditto is useful for breeding, however there are a few pokemon that are incapable of breeding. Most legendries will not breed. Zapdos will not breed with ditto.

There are two places in Pokemon Blue where you are able to find a wild Pikachu's. If you're in the early period of the game, you can find one in Viridian Forest, but you may have to try several times, because there's 5 % probability you will meet one, but it's still quite easy, just keep going. Pikachu's captured in Viridian Forest are at level 3 to 5.
