You can dowload a ROM for Pokemon yellow, but you can only keep them legally for 24 hours after you dowload it, and I doubt you'd finish the game in 24 hours!!

But again, you can only keep the ROM on your computer for 24 hours. I'm not quite sure how this works, as I haven't downloaded one for myself, but you're more than welcome to visit that website and try it for yourself. I think the purpose is for people to try it for 24 hours to see if they like it or something. So give it a go and if you like Pokemon Yellow, then you can probably get your hands on a second hand copy somewhere.

After you defeat all the gym leaders and have all the five HMs with you, go to Virdian City and go left and up in the building. The people will once ask about the badges and you keep going up and up. In Pokémon HeartGold, you cannot find Giovanni without a special "Fateful Encounter" Celebi that has not been released yet. With this special event Celebi, you will be sent back in time to when you'll see Giovanni and your Rival arguing with 1 another and then you'll be transported into an area in Tohjo Falls which is when you'll be able to do battle with Giovanni.

In the Power Plant. Use Surf at Route 10 in the gap in the fence to get down to the bottom, then you will see a guy on a bit of land. Challenge him, evade him, whatever, then go into the factory there. Look around for a bit and you will eventually see a Pikachu. They can be pretty strong so have some strong Pokemon and a few Super/Hyper potions. You can also get Zapdos there.

Pikachu can also be caught in Viridian Forest, though the encounter rate is around 5% and its level is far below that of the Pikachu in the Power Plant.
