How do you save animals from water pollution?
We can help animals affected by water pollution by learning more about the health benefits of structured water and how structured water is made by nature in the water cycle and how we can provide structured water sources for animals and for ourselves as humans.
Can acid rain burn your hair off?
because naturally acid burns the skin because of the chemicals that are placed in them so the acid rain in the same
How can factories stop pollution?
A factory that emits contaminants may have to reduce or eliminate the loss of these materials because:
To do this they first have to determine what pollutants they emit. This is done by sampling the air and gases leaving the plant smoke stacks, the water leaving by the plant sewers and the solid wastes going to the disposal sites.
For each of the pollutants they then determine why it is being created and why it is being discharged. This is usually the work of engineers and chemists. In many cases the pollution they emit is actually valuable materials that can be recovered and sold. In other cases the pollution represents wastes of materials or energy that are costing the factory money.
For each pollutant there is a method of reduction. These include:
What are the 4 countries that have the most soil pollution?
Israel is the country most waterpolluted in the world
Why are offshore wind farms a good idea?
Because they can produce electricity, without dangerous and polluting Carbon dioxide emissions. However, studies have shown that wildlife can be harmed by them, especially migrating birds. Having them offshore means that people can't complain about their noise.
How do you protect our river from pollution?
To prevent the exploitation of the Yamuna, we must firstly get rid of people bathing, and washing clothes in that region. We must also stop too much of irrigation near the banks of the Yamuna.
i will say sorry and find a new dress for the guest if only i have some.
What are three common challenges with managing nonrenewable energy resources?
Challenges for using alternative renewable energy resources include:
* producing enough wind and solar energy to make them financially efficient
* storing excess energy to use when needed
* producing biomass resources that don't pollute or take needed food products away from the hungry.
How do waterways get polluted?
It gets polluted by acid rain, oil spills, litter, insecticide mixing with fertilizers etc.
1. The emission of waste heat from an electric generating station into a lake, causing common change through their stress.
2. the discharge of nutrients containing sewer wastes, in a water body causing eutrophication.
Uncontrolled algae growth
Phosphorus pollution
Sources of pollution are storm water runoffs, combined sewer overflows, sanitary sewer overflows, failed septic tanks, leaking oil storage tanks, and more.
1. Illegal dumping of industrial waste
2. Rainwater or snowmelt that runs over the land, picking up pesticides, and fertilizers; called runoff
3. Used water from people's homes and communities; called wastewater
All of the above.
There are several things that can pollute water, from the sewage of your drains to the major oil spills around the world. Some examples may be wastewater, which is water that contains waste products from washing dishes, clothes, or a factory that uses water to clean its facilities or make products.
Rain washes off the oil that cars drop on the roads. This runs into gutters and then into waterways.
Water pollution may be both natural or man-made. Obviously man-made water pollution is more significant.
Natural Water pollution;
As water flows down a slope (such as a river) it drags with it all kinds of impurities. These impurities can be heavy metals (such as Arsenic, Lead, Cadmium and Mercury) or soluble impurities (such as Magnesium sulfate or calcium sulfate). These substances are naturally found in the soil.
Water can also be polluted because of substance being released from a nearby volcano. An example is the Anchorage volcano of Alaska which releases huge amounts of Sulfur in the water bodies. As a result the water becomes extremely acidic (due to the formation of sulfuric acid) - this is detrimental to aquatic life.
Pollution due to man-made activities;
One form is to aggravate the natural discharge of heavy metals and other impurities. By working with the soil close to water bodies, the harmful discharge is accelerated. Example of "working close to water-bodies" leading to pollution is the extraction of Gold)
Acid rain are caused due to man-made activities. They cause the acidification of water.
Discharge of water mixed with various detergents from industries and homes.
Discharge of dirty water from industries add impurities and heavy metals (especially from dye-industries).
Untreated sewage water (from septic tanks) leeks into water bodies.
Excess fertilizers leech into water bodies. This promotes the excessive growth of algae (known as algae-bloom). The algae uses excessive oxygen causing other aquatic organisms to suffocate and die. Aerobic bacteria act on the dead organism and further depletes the oxygen content of the water body. Finally the algae also suffocates leading to a lifeless and polluted water body.

What are the benefits of water pollution?
There are many forms of water pollution. Most natural. A deer that urinates into a stream has polluted it. Most people only consider man induced water pollution though when they refer to this subject though, as this is the worst form of pollution.
Man induced pollution is the most preventable and the worst in terms of length of endurance. Pouring pcb's into our water will keep life from developing or surviving for years.
Some pollution of the eco system is not avoidable without causing death of our population too! Pesticides are required by farmers to give us the food we need. Over use of pesticides causes problems by flowing into our water eco system. Some people feel we should allow millions to die and stop all pesticides. Other people feel that this is a small price to pay for modern life. The truth is (as almost always) somewhere between.
No matter what your stance is, we should all be able to agree, the less man made pollution, the better.
Can a car cause air pollution?
Carbon dioxide levels are rising due to the increase in pollution from cars and other vehicles. Global warming usually gets worse when co2 levels rise because of many factors of driving vehicles.
What is the solution of office noise?
The best solution to get rid of office noise is to use Bose noise-canceling headphones or earplugs.
What damage does nuclear power cause?
Nuclear power has multiple dangers such as,
Power plant accidents- a notable one is Chernobyl but many have occurred
Radiation which causes cancer
Radioactive waste
If Nuclear war comes into play
What are the environmental impacts that occur due to increased ground level ozone?
problems vary from inflammation in the lining of the lungs, chronic lung diseases, aggravates asthma, reduce lung functioning, and irritates respiratory system...
If it were, factories could not operate, people could not drive, homes could not be heated etc.
Answer:
In many jurisdictions air pollution is a crime with associated controls, limits and potential penalties which may include fines or imprisonment. The crime is often considered to be a "strict liability" offense which implies a "guilty until proven innocent "context to any court case.
Depending on the jurisdiction the offense of "pollution" may be handled as:
Check with your local environmental protection ministry for their rules and regulations.
How much pollution is released from factories every year?
Industries are pumping a staggering amount of pollution into the air each and every single day. It is unknown exactly how much pollution is pumped into the air because some companies have not reported.
Does air pollution cause lung problem?
Yes it can because of all the chemicals and it will very slowly kill your lungs and that may cause lungs problems or lung cancer.
How does the water pollution harms people?
Water pollution affects plants and organisms living in these bodies of water and, in almost all cases the effect is damaging not only to individual species and populations but also to the natural biological communities.
What are the three measures that governments have taken to control ocean pollution?
The government enforces laws that are meant to protect the environment as a whole. The government also encourages efforts aimed at keeping the ocean free of pollution.
