Humans should obviously be paying for the damage but maybe not the most recent generation. Our past ancestors and past generations should be paying for the damage and reducing their carbon footprint but yet not much is being done to reduce carbon dioxide etc. instead this present generation and future generations will be cleaning up the mess and having to sort out global warming, pollution and much more.

Types of pollutants caused by a limestone quarry are:-

Air pollution, the dust etc caused from drilling. The process of quarrying limestone causes the air to become polluted.

Sound pollution, the sound caused by quarrying from limestone can often heavily impact those living within hearing distance.

The population of a place, numerous vehicles, and a great size in factories.

It destroyed hillsides and created polluted runoff.

Such cooling water is not used to cool down the reactors, it is used to cool and condense the steam outlet of the steam turbines, in fact it just passes through tubes inside the condenser and then back to the river or lake, or in some plants with cooling towers it passes through the cooling towers before going through the condenser and then back to the river or lake. The water does not come into contact with any radioactivity, but is warmed slightly by heat exchange in the condenser, before returning to the river or lake. So the only effect on the river or lake is to have water returned at a slightly higher temperature than the main body of water. Water taken from a river or lake would have far too many impurities (dissolved solids and organic matter) to be used in the primary or secondary cooling circuits of the reactor, and would go through a demineralising plant before being used for those circuits.

It depends on what you mean by "polluted". If you mean untreated water, than almost never. If you, however drink water polluted with anthrax, than most of the times you do die...

There are various forms of pollution in Ireland. The pros of recess are it is good physical exercise. It will decrease obesity. It releases tension that aids concentration.

The cons are that to fit recess in, the school day would have to be longer.

Pollution is a big problem that is slowly destroying the world that we live in. It is vital for every individual to do what he or she can to clean up the environment. Whether it is in the home or on a government level, every person is important and has the ability to make a difference and help stop pollution.

The first step you can take to stop pollution is to not litter. Throw the garbage into a trashcan instead of onto the sidewalk or the side of a road. Carry around a small bag with you and if you see a piece of litter on the ground while you are on a walk, pick it up and toss it out.

If you notice that there are not many garbage cans on the street in your town, write a letter to your local government asking them to put out more in order to help stop pollution. Many people go on walks, especially during summer months, and would like to be able to have access to a garbage can if they need one. Instead of people tossing the litter onto the street, they may be more likely to put it in a garbage can if there was one around.

The law changed after the Exxon-Valdez accident, to require BP to pay for clean-up costs. It may be infeasible to clean all marsh areas. So, it remains to be seen what BP will do to compensate others for the environmental damages.

Any type of pollution should be everybody's concern since it affects the environment where al people live. The adverse effects of global warming will affect everyone and this should the reason for concern over pollution.
