No, white hair can't turn black again. You could dye it black. But you have to do it continually because it does fade.
Poodles sleep at night like humans do, about 8 to 9 hours. Plus they take short naps during to day. We are training our four month old to a crate. Take food and water away from him four hours before bed time. He will get used to the routine.
I cut my doberman's tail when she was a few weeks old, but you should do it between 4 and 7 days for the least trauma and no anesthetic to be necessary. My rotweiller got his cut then, and it was quite easy.
Treatment time was short, and he was happy as ever.
It could be a bad habit your poodle has gotten into. To be on the safe side it would be a good idea to visit your veterinarian, he can give you the proper answers you need.
About 600-900 dollars depends on the color <3
There is such thing called a pomapoo. A lot of people have not heard about them though. They are very nice with everyone. You could go to a breeder.
All poodles were used for hunting at one time and through breeding came the Toy Poodle. Generally these little dogs are easy to care for and just the right size the owner may want. Don't EVER underestimate a small dog because they can go up your leg like a rusty can opener if they feel their owner or their property is in danger.
Commonly a Toy Poodle is used for a family pet, therapy dog, obedience (they are highly intelligent dogs) and show dogs. They were originally used as hunting dogs, water retrieving truffles for roots of oak trees. Poodles are excellent swimmers by the way. Poodles are also very fast runners. Toy poodles are also used in the circus because toy poodles are very sure footed and love to jump and walk on their hind feet.
Poodles (Toy, Miniature, Standard Poodles) are very, very, "highly" intelligent. They are very quick to train. They thrive on pleasing their masters, and make excellent companions and pets. They are smarter than a bulldog.
This depends on the breeding, as well as socialization of the dog. In general poodles are known to be very smart and were used for hunting and other sporting activities. They take training as any other dog would. Most of the time it is not so much that the dog is dumb but rather the own that does not know how to train and teach the dog. From a personal view I have owned 4 poodles and never had a "dumb" one in the bunch. I have owned Standard Poodles that I have shown in AKC events. I have had tiny toys and toys also. So from a personal view I would have to say that they are very intelligent for the most part. Again go to a reliable breeder, be sure to see and spend time with parents of puppy. Find a class or read some books on how to train your dog. It is always best to start a basic training class as early as you can.
toy poodles are generally very easy to train. They care a lot about pleasing their masters and are very cute.

There are two ways that poodles can vary: size and color.
Size:
Poodles come in three sizes: toy, miniature, and standard. Since these sizes are a result of selective breeding, multiple sizes can occur within the same litter of puppies, and intermediate sizes can also occur. Some unscrupulous breeders will charge extra high prices for very small poodles, called "teacup" poodles, or extra large "royal standard" poodles, but these are not recognized variations by reputable breeders. Every kennel club has its own set of standards for size, but all are approximately the same. Toy poodles are the smallest recognized poodle variety, at approximately 10 inches and under at the withers (shoulders). Poodles are considered to be miniature if they are between approximately 10 and 15 inches at the withers, and standard if over 15 inches at the withers.
Color:
Poodles have coats that continuously grow and do not shed. They come in many colors, including white, cream, apricot (think strawberry blonde), red, cafe au lait (light brown), chocolate (dark brown), silver-beige, silver, blue (very dark gray), black, parti color (bicolor spotted), phantom (markings like those on a doberman), mismark (more than two colors), and tuxedo (black, with a white bib and belly).
Of course, interbreeding can produce any mixture of colors or size, though they may not be recognized by most kennel clubs.
Well, technically, yes. Poodles can get really upset stomachs pretty easily.
Never, boodles are a breed of domestic dog that have been developed by humans. Thus at no time were there ever any wild poodles.
The average life span of any breeds varies widely. The smaller dogs tend to have longer life spans. A well bred one can live 15-20 years with good care including not over feeding it. Some of the smallest Poodles have genetic problems from the intensive breeding for size which often leads to short lives. You should be able to expect a long life for an ordinary Toy Poodle.
13 yrs to possibly 19 years.
The life span of a Toy Poodle is 12 - 14 years.
They average 12 to 15 years.
you could try You might end up with a... Pugshire? I don't know. But (for the best possible results) the dogs should be at the ideal breeding age, about the same size, and fully medically tested for disease, fertility, etc. You should also ask your veterinarian for the go-ahead on this particularly adventurous breeding venture.
yes it is a very cute name and is very common
it is probably the best name ever
Poodles can be rather vocal dogs. The first thing to do is to teach your dog to speak on command. Once they learn the "Speak" command, you can teach then the "Quiet" command.
Be persistent and consistent. Have regular training sessions rather than waiting until you are dealing with visitors AND a barking dog. Praise your dog for being quiet in any situation where they would normally be barking, saying "Good Quiet".
You can also try walking away and ignoring them when they bark - your reaction may actually be encouraging the noise inadvertently. And make sure visitors do the same.
Another (Safe) Alternative to Prevent Your Dog From Barking
A dog parent can also try safe ultrasonic bark control. When your dog barks the ultrasonic bark control unit emits a high frequency sound that only your dog can hear. Each dog bark triggers the bark control unit to emit the sound. The dog will stop barking when he/she hears it. Soon the dog will realize that their barking causes the uncomfortable noise and will stop barking. The ultrasonic bark control is not recommended in a house with cats since they are also able to hear the high frequency sound.
There are two types of Safe Ultrasonic Bark Controls: Indoor and Outdoor. The Indoor Bark Control unit sits on any flat surface in your house. The Outdoor Bark Control looks like a Birdhouse and can be placed on any outside tree. The device not only looks great for your outdoor decor but an added benefit is controls not only your dog from barking but also your neighbor's barking dog. The Indoor Bark Control unit can be controlled manually or automatically. Manually means you will press the button when you hear your dog bark. Automatic means the device will emit the sound when it picks up the dog bark. The product is manufactured by a reputable company called Petsafe.
I found the Petsafe Outdoor Bark Control Birdhouseor Petsafe Indoor Bark Control unit at the following online pet store. Bark controls are great if you are not always home to correct their behavior:
It depends on the size of the parents. I would guess that it was a cross of a Toy Poodle and a Chihuahua, both of which are relatively small, making a Chihuahua-Poodle relatively small (less than 10 lbs). Please take care of your pets and I hope you adopted your dog because there is no such thing as a designer dog or a teacup dog.
toy poodles can come in a range of colours but the most common are white, tanned and black.
They are called "newfypoo" we have one and she is so bouncy and lovable
It's possible but I really don't think so since there are stronger breeds such as the German Shepard, Golden retriever and other breeds. Poodles are water retrievers used for hunting in the water.
It depends on which type of poodle the poodle is:
Standard poodles weigh 45-65lbs
Miniature poodles weigh 12-18lbs
Toy poodles weigh 4-8lbs
