I don't know by train but i can tell you that by bus it cost you 19 Euros from Lagos (one of the Algarve cities) to Lisbon. This bus also pass in Faro.
Since Lagos is a terminal stop its more expensive to go from Lagos to Lisbon, than from Faro to Lisbon, so i am sure the ticket its less than 19 Euros in this case.
