Yes. You could be pregnant. The home tests won't become positive until you are at least one month late. 5 days is too soon. Go to the Dr. and get a blood test, this way you know for sure and earlier.

I believe right after you will still have the hormone in your blood stream. I would advise you go the Dr. to be sure if you are pregnant again or not.

You can but you will get a inaccurate result. Wait till your period arrives. If it doesn't arrive then you do a test. If it DOES arrive then you are not pregnant.

It says that is is accurate 5 days before a missed period. If you take it that early and get a negative, I would retest 5 days later. Sometimes women do not have enough hormone in their urine to trigger a positive 5 days before their period.

After stopping birth control pills it can take your body time to get back to "normal" if you are worried go to the doctor and have them do a hcg blood test.

Stomach gurgling is not a sign of pregnancy and you would have to wait and see if you miss your period before guessing. If you really aren't pregnant and the test said it was negative. Then it is negative. If you were worried about being pregnant then this could be why you're late. Stress can delay your period.

KEEP IN MIND that when people refer to the possibility of having a 'false reading' from a pregnancy test... there can only be a FAKE NEGATIVE, not a fake positive. If it says positive then it's more than sure that you are pregnant. But some women take these test too early, or before their missed period, and that will give you a fake negative. So the best way to find out is through a doctor/clinic.

Doctors can test for pretty much any medicine that you are on depending on how long after taking the medicine (pill, patch, etc) the urine test was performed. Some drugs leave the body in a few days while others take a few weeks to fully get out of the body. So yes I believe a doctor could but I have never heard of someone testing for this on a urine test.

My pregnancy tests did not show positive until 3 days after my period was due. I also had slight cramping like the start of a period for the next two weeks. At 6 weeks my cramps suddenly disappeared and the morning sickness started! As long as you are not bleeding I would say hang in there a little longer.

I dont think that would be a good time to take a pregnancy test since 13 days before your period is probably around the time that you are ovulationg and it can take up to a week for the egg to implant in the uterus if implantation occured. Wait till the day you are supppossed to have your period, I know you are anticipating, but the best results are about 5 days past the day you were suppossed to get your period.

Hello, In my opinion you can perform a urine pregnancy test 3 weeks after sexual intercourse & the test should be accurate. A blood test can be performed as early as 7 days after conception has taken place. Please note this is advice only & should not be used in place of a medical expert.

19 days after intercourse may result in a accurate pregnancy test.

I've been taking levothyroxine for hypothyroidism my whole life and though I've never been pregnant, I've never read anything or been told by my doctor that the medication would affect a pregnancy test.

i see no reason why it would affect a pregnancy test because levothyroxine is synthetic replacement of thyroid hormones that would otherwise already be in your body if your thyroid gland was working properly. pregnancy tests are testing for a specific pregnancy hormone and shouldn't be affected by levothyroxine.
