Hi, No you are not pregnant hun. Your period was like this because Birth Control Pill is adjusting to your body. This can cause light and late periods. If your period is late again next month and doesn't arrive during the 7 day break when your taking the non-active pills, then see your doctor and change your Birth Control.
yes you can still be pregnant but could have also been late because of stress take another test now to see
Yes. You could be pregnant. The home tests won't become positive until you are at least one month late. 5 days is too soon. Go to the Dr. and get a blood test, this way you know for sure and earlier.
If you take a pregnancy test after a miss carriage will it show negative?
I believe right after you will still have the hormone in your blood stream. I would advise you go the Dr. to be sure if you are pregnant again or not.
Can you take a pregnancy test a week before your period is due?
You can but you will get a inaccurate result. Wait till your period arrives. If it doesn't arrive then you do a test. If it DOES arrive then you are not pregnant.
How accurate is the first response pregnancy test?
It says that is is accurate 5 days before a missed period. If you take it that early and get a negative, I would retest 5 days later. Sometimes women do not have enough hormone in their urine to trigger a positive 5 days before their period.
You are probably not pregnant, unless you got pregnant after the serum/blood pregnancy test. The HCG that it tests for is zero unless you are pregnant, so negative test, no pregnancy.
After stopping birth control pills it can take your body time to get back to "normal" if you are worried go to the doctor and have them do a hcg blood test.
2 days awy from period very sore and bigger breasts but test negative can it be pregnancy?
Probably not. Just bloating from water retention.
When is the best time to take a home pregnancy test?
The best time to take a home pregnancy test is in the morning.....
How early can you pick up HCG levels?
From 7 days past ovulation until like 26 days past ovulation anything is possible!(this is home pregnancy test) Blood test (quantitive HCG) is more accurate after 7-10 days past ovulation(possible conception) All the best!
Usually 8 days after intercourse is the soonest that you can accurately tell if you are pregnant or not.
Brown discharge on the 14th day of your period is just the end of your period blood. Stomach gurgling is not a sign of pregnancy and you would have to wait and see if you miss your period before guessing. You actually can only get pregnant the 10-14 days after your period when you ovulate(drop your eggs) and that is a hit or miss thing too.

Could a woman have a miscarriage before her first missed period?
yes a women can have a miscarriage any where between ovulation and her missed period some women know and some do not
Late period and negative pregnancy test?
If you really aren't pregnant and the test said it was negative. Then it is negative. If you were worried about being pregnant then this could be why you're late. Stress can delay your period.
KEEP IN MIND that when people refer to the possibility of having a 'false reading' from a pregnancy test... there can only be a FAKE NEGATIVE, not a fake positive. If it says positive then it's more than sure that you are pregnant. But some women take these test too early, or before their missed period, and that will give you a fake negative. So the best way to find out is through a doctor/clinic.
Can a doctor tell if you are on birth control through a urine test?
Doctors can test for pretty much any medicine that you are on depending on how long after taking the medicine (pill, patch, etc) the urine test was performed. Some drugs leave the body in a few days while others take a few weeks to fully get out of the body. So yes I believe a doctor could but I have never heard of someone testing for this on a urine test.
How soon after conception can you start to show signs of pregnancy?
The first sign of pregnancy is missing a period which is 2 weeks after conceptio, and around this time you may start feeling symptoms, sore breasts, constipation etc.
i think its different for each woman i have had 2 kids and no signs until my 7th or 8th week
My pregnancy tests did not show positive until 3 days after my period was due. I also had slight cramping like the start of a period for the next two weeks. At 6 weeks my cramps suddenly disappeared and the morning sickness started! As long as you are not bleeding I would say hang in there a little longer.
Can you take a pregnancy test 13days before your period?
I dont think that would be a good time to take a pregnancy test since 13 days before your period is probably around the time that you are ovulationg and it can take up to a week for the egg to implant in the uterus if implantation occured. Wait till the day you are supppossed to have your period, I know you are anticipating, but the best results are about 5 days past the day you were suppossed to get your period.
When is the soonest you can take a pregnancy test?
Hello, In my opinion you can perform a urine pregnancy test 3 weeks after sexual intercourse & the test should be accurate. A blood test can be performed as early as 7 days after conception has taken place. Please note this is advice only & should not be used in place of a medical expert.
How late can you take a home pregnancy test?
This is why it happens (MLUs is Milliliters per unit).
When you get pregnant, your body produces a hormone called HCG (I can not name nor pronounce the long term. The longer you are pregnant the more hormone is in your body. So at 4 week- its 5MLUs to 426Mlus in your system. That is when normal pregnant women test.. now if you get the test that looks for the highest amount of HCG then you COULD test positive if you were just over the amount.. like at 426MLUs... As you grow in pregnancy your body changes your HCG hormone level and this is how it is...
3 weeks LMP (7 DPO)
0 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP (14DPO)
5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP
18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP
1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7-8 weeks LMP
7,650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9-12 weeks LMP
25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13-16 weeks LMP
13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17-24 weeks LMP
40,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25-40 weeks LMP
3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Yes you can take a test up to about 12-16 weeks but you might get a negative if your HCG is to high...
OK The HPTS that you can buy in the store register as follows...
20-50 MLUs
50-100 MLUs
100-250 MLUs
What that means is.. say you have the ClearBlue test it can read between 50-100
(that is the one I took) and you are 8 months which is 35 weeks that means my HCG is 3640-117000... There is no test other then a Doctor test that will say I am pregnant!! My sister is pregnant with my nephew and she took a test the same time I did and at 6 months (25ish weeks) got a positive. So In my calculations... DONT TAKE A TEST LATER THEN 6 MONTHS unless You know that you are and are goofing around because THEY ARE NOT AS RELIABLE AS THEY SEEM... GO TO A DR. AND If you have any other questions you can call 18669426466 that is the pregnancy hot line and they can help with other questions.
Can a pregnancy test show an accurate result after 19 days?
19 days after intercourse may result in a accurate pregnancy test.
Can the medication levothyroxine affect a pregnancy test?
I've been taking levothyroxine for hypothyroidism my whole life and though I've never been pregnant, I've never read anything or been told by my doctor that the medication would affect a pregnancy test.
i see no reason why it would affect a pregnancy test because levothyroxine is synthetic replacement of thyroid hormones that would otherwise already be in your body if your thyroid gland was working properly. pregnancy tests are testing for a specific pregnancy hormone and shouldn't be affected by levothyroxine.
