Why did Muhammad have few followers from the beginning?

At first, his only followers were his family and close friends.

A:At first, no. In 610, Muhammad began receiving revelations. After 2 years, he began preaching and winning converts, initially among his family and friends. Many of the converts, including a significant number of women, were from the poorer clans and others who were unhappy about the new inequity in Mecca.

The most powerful men in Mecca were able to simply ignore the Muslims, but by 616 they had become angry with Muhammad who, they said, reviled the faith of their fathers, was obviously a charlatan and only pretended to be a prophet. They had begun to fear that Muhammad was plotting to take over the leadership of Mecca.

Envoys from Yathrib (Medina) approached Muhammad during the (pre-Islamic) hajj in 620, converted to Islam and undertook a treaty of mutual support with the Muslims. In 622, the Muslim families slipped away, one by one, and made the migration to Yathrib. Muhammad, whose protector had recently died, was almost assassinated before escaping. In the several years that followed, Muhammad's band of followers was able to repel attacks by pagans and Jews living in Medina.

By 630, Muhammad had attracted sufficient followers to defeat the leaders of his tribal city of Mecca. His military successes began to attract very large numbers of Arabs to his cause.

Did Muhammad torture?

Of course not, he was a noble man who cared for nothing more than the rights of human beings regardless of whether they were Muslim or not. Muhammad (PBUH) constantly told his followers of the importance of human rights regardless of religion. Even during the prophets lifetime he was subjected to hate by some of the people around him, regardless of this he never ever said any bad words about them but instead prayed for them to become better people.

People who say otherwise are ignorant and have not truly studied the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

May Allah bless you and keep you on the right track.

Is Islam decreasing?

Well , basically , Islam is growing. Islam is the most influential religion on the planet. Muslims are generally very practicing people. They practice their faith while Christians in the West don't care about Christianity. Almost ALL the neutral sources say that Islam is growing..

The associated consequences are obvious. Christians are basically reformed and know what bad exists in Bible. They have reformed and are now moving towards better society. Islam on the other hand is not yet reformed. That's why one of the bloodiest wars ever on muslims known as CRUSADES is not repeating. Christians have reformed to such an extent that all cruelty in the name of Jesus is removed. On the other hand, cruelty in the name of Allah still exists.

9/11 - USA bombings

7/7 - London Bombings

26/11 - IND Bombings

31/3 - Thailand Bombings

270 million slaughters of Christians, Zoroastrians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists etc.

Shia - Sunni wars

All deadly attacks in the name of GOD, are done by muslims. The only sole reason is that they practice their religion with utmost care.

On the other hand, the Christians are totally reformed, there are at least 1 billion Christians worldwide who dont want to repeat Crusades and consider Crusades as the last option, that too if needed. BUT for Muslims, it is religious duty to enforce Shariah and subjugate / persecute / murder innocent non muslims.

Muslims do rally in UK calling for repeat of 7/7. They do rally in IND calling for repeat of 26/11. They also do rally in Europe saying - ACCEPT ISLAM, LEARN FROM 9/11.

This is the actual problem. In Christianity, if a man considers killing others as a service to GOD, some Christians become vocal against him. They ensure that the pro - terrorist is either sent to Jesus OR made to lament. In no cases, a Christian terrorist is declared martyr. BUT, in Islam; first - a terrorist is martyr since he kills in the name of Allah, second - rarely any muslim will criticize him, third - If any muslim criticizes him (by mistake), he would have fatwa issued on his name - Ex: Harun Yahya is boycotted. Tahir Ul Qadri is declared shirk (a sin as per islamic sources). Javed Ghamidi faced death attacks and Nawab Karim was sent to Allah.

Arab nations are one of the richest lands in the world. They bribe people urging them to convert. Many such conversions are done. The second way, islam converts is by using Al Taqiyya which means deception. They can lie and deceive innocent non muslims to trap them. The Al Taqiyya is permitted till muslims are in minority. The moment they attain majority, it becomes a fair game. Fairness as per islam standards is repeatation of holocausts of non muslims. The biggest holocaust in the world history is slaughter of 80 million hindus to the Jihadi hands. (proven by Will Durant AND Koenraad Elst). Hitler was a peaceloving Deutsch leader. For some time, he came in contact with Mullahs and Maulvis. He then left Christianity to become Mohammedan. After that, happened World Wars. The second biggest holocaust - Jew holocaust of Israel.

Yes, Islam is growing and in the same way, terrorism is also growing. The reason for growth of terrorism is NOT actually increase of radical muslims BUT peaceful muslims doing nothing.

Did the prophet Mohammed really exist?

Ebrahim Jasat

As,Muslims we believe in the existence of prophet muhammed s.a.w and he is the founder of the religion of Islam and no other prophet will come.

From Willravel:

If you're looking for direct evidence, I doubt you're going to find anything concrete. There's probably a better case to be made for the existence of Muhammad than there is for, say, Jesus, but it's still going to be difficult because record-keeping was messy in that area at that time. If I had to give an answer, I would say there's not enough evidence to conclude there was a Muhammad, however there may have been such a man. It's highly unlikely, however, that even if he did exist he did most the things attributed to him in the Qur'an, especially those of a supernatural nature (speaking to god, bifurcation of the moon, being really good at absolutely everything he ever did, etc.). That could easily be chalked up to embellishment in oral tradition during the early years of Islam.

What are the name of the two prophets of the Bible?

Samuel, Nehemiah, Isaiah, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.

Most of the prophets for each king are unrecorded, but Gad Nathan were prophets under king David.

There's a list of prophets at wikipedia, but many of these were scribes, not prophets in the literal sense. Also, some of these listed are not prophets as we understand them. Take the list with a grain of salt, and research each name before using them.
