Where did Muhammad go when he had the dream about he is the prophet?
Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah Karim be upon him) used to meditate in the cave Hira when he was about forty years of age. During his meditation in the cave Hira, Hazrat Jibrail (AS) came to him and informed him that he was a prophet. After this revelation, Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah Karim be upon him) went home and told his kind wife, Hazrat Khudija (RA) about this incident. She immediately confirmed his prophethood and took him to Warqa bin Nofil who had faith in Hazrat Masiaha (AS) and was a scholar of Christianity. He also confirmed that he was the promised prophet and foretold that he would be exiled from Makka.

You mean his wife, Khadija? She was the first person to accept Islam, immediately after Prophet Muhammad, God bless him and grant him peace, returned to Makkah from the cave in which the revelations began. Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) was an intelligent, mature, sophisticated businesswoman. She was fifteen years older than Muhammad, God bless him and grant him peace, and they were devoted to each other. I'd say that her accepting Islam immediately after Prophet Muhammad, God bless him and grant him peace, did is absolutely believeable.

You see, we all have feelings. Maybe I feel like I want to drink alcohol or gamble or run after sex, etc. But if I have that feeling inside - but do not obey my feelings - then God will not punish me for it. In fact, having a desire to commit a sin but avoiding actually doing it is a good deed done.
So the act of homosexuality is a major sin. But your feelings are not sins - until you act on them. A person should also try to stay away from things that encourage the sin - like hanging out with people who commit the sin, watching such a thing on television or the internet, etc.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) was very poor and grew up in a desert away from his mother ( they believed that growing in the desert made strong men) and he never saw his father. Soon he met Khadija a trader who sent him to different areas to trade and buy goods but soon she fell in love with him although there was a great age difference. did this answer your question?

Prophet Suleiman was a prophet who understood languages of birds and all animals. He had a army of birds, jinn, and men.

Who are you to judge on a prophet and criticize him without any knowledge or understanding. Can you judge on Jesus and tell what his mistakes. Can you judge on any prophet to tell his mistakes. How you dare to say on a prophet whose followers are around one fourth of world population that he made non sense marriage. Please refrain yourself from answering something that you don't know and that you don't understand.
First: as for your claim that Prophet Muhammad spent too much time on wars. Did you know any of these wars that he initiated by himself. None. All the wars that prophet Muhammad participated in initiated by the disbelievers who arranged their armies and move to the Muslims city to attack them. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was spreading love, peace, forgiveness, and tolerance.
Second your claim that he didn't make clear who his successor. Do you consider this is mistake. It is mentioned in Quran that Muslims should follow the principle of 'Shoura' that means consultation and election. Isn't this what is known now as democracy? Is this mistake.
Third: your claim that he made non sense marriages. I challenge you to find a prophet or any one in the 6th century that he did marry with one wife over 25 years and even without having any illegal wife. Even, Jesus although he didn't marry, as most Christians believe, but left this world while relatively much younger than the average men age while in the early thirties. Prophet stayed in marriage with a single woman for 25 years (although she was widow and was older than him with 15 years) and without having any sex with any one else before or during his marriage with her. Regarding other marriages, each one of them was for a reason and is inspired by God.

Who witnessed Mohamed's ascension in Jerusalem?

They asked him to prove that he was in Jerusalem. The people of Makkah knew he had never travelled there.
Muhammad not only described Jerusalem down to its little streets, (Muhammad later said that, though he could not remember much of what he saw, Allah showed it to him as he spoke), but he also described the condition of a particular rest stop down to details of how a glass was laying on its side in a particular place. So they sent out a rider to that rest stop. He returnrd leter that day to report that Muhammad was right.
But even more than that, Muhammad said that he passed a caravan of x number of camels and x number of men carrying goods that were from such and such a place. He said that the caravan would arrive to Makkah around mid day.

Abu Bakr Assiddique did NOT witness it. When he was told that Muhammad was going around telling people that he travelled to Jerusalem and back, Abu Bakr said: If Muhammad said it, then he did. THAT is why he is called Assiddique - because he believed the Prophet immediately.
