What is the importance of Arafat Day?
The 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah (the Month of Hajj, the 12th month in Islam Lunar Calendar) is called the Day of Arafat. This day is the culminating event of the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The Day of Arafat falls on the 2nd day of pilgrimage rituals. At dawn of this day, some 2 million Muslim pilgrims or more make their way from Mecca to a nearby hillside and plain called Mount Arafat and the Plain of Arafat. It was from this site that the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, gave his famous Farewell Sermon in his final year of life.
During the entire day, from dawn until sunset, Muslim pilgrims stand in earnest supplication and devotion, praying for God's abundant forgiveness. Tears are shed readily as those who gather make repentance and seek God's mercy, recite words of prayer and remembrance, and gather together as equals before their Lord. Muslims around the world who are not participating in the pilgrimage often spend this day in fasting and devotion.

Then I became ill and my hair fell out. After my hair grew back, my mother, Umm Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girlfriends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She grabbed my hand and made me stand at the front door. I was out of breath, and when my breathing became steady, she took some water and wiped my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Medinan women who had converted to Islam, and they said, 'Best wishes and Allah's blessing and good luck.' Then she entrusted me to them, and they dressed me up. Unexpectedly, Mohammed came to me later in the morning, and my mother handed me over to him. At that time I was a little girl nine years of age."

They are: Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique, Hazrat Umar Farooq, Hazrat Usman Ghani, Hazrat Ali (May Allah be pleased with them all).
Allah says in Quran, "YA AYU-TU-HA-NAFS-IM-MUTMAINNA IRJAOO ILAA RABBIK RAAZIA TAM-MARZIA" (O! The owner of the most satisfied Heart and Soul, come back to Your Lord. Your God is completely satisfied from Your Satisfaction).
This verse was revealed in the last days of Holy Prophet, indicating that the All-Mighty was completely satisfied with the entire Prophet-hood of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa S.A.W.A.W.
Second time, the echo of the same words hit the ears of Imam Hussain A.S in the battle of Karbala, just before getting martered. It indicates that after Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.A.W, it is only Imam Hussain A.S who was completely satisfied by the will of God and God by His will.
Accordingly Hazrat Muhammed S.A.W.A.W and Imam Hussain A.S share the Quranic title, i.e: Nafs-im-Mutmainna.
Therefore Muhammad II (S.A.W.A.W) was/is Hazrat Imam Hussain Shaheed-e-Karbala A.S.

Canwomen vote in Islam and what is the source of this knowledge?
Women can definitely vote in Islam. The Quran gives men and women equal rights, it's a different thing when some Muslim countries have leaders who suppress the rights of women. Pakistan which is a Muslim country actually had a woman president for a few years. Whenever anyone says that Islam doesn't give women equal rights that is far from the truth, it's all written in the Quran. Women's rights don't get suppressed because of Islam it's because of bad leaders and governments.
