No. Fluoxetine (Prozac) is an SSRI antidepressant. It is not a substance of abuse which is tested for ... ever. It also does not confound drug testing for any of the substances which are tested for.

Prozac works on serotonin and Theanine works on gaba which in turn seem toraise dopamine levels so both of them are working on entirely different neurotransmitters so there should be no drug reactions, but an advice with a professional health specialist will be the best thing.

I've taken Prozac alot of times before, but first off....

I'm pretty sure your not physically withdrawing off cannabis because it is something that is generally unheard of but still known. Second, Prozac takes over a week to give antidepressent effects so it is quite stupid to be using Prozac to "Withdraw" off cannabis, if your really feeling like crap and need something to take off the edge, grab yourself some sort of benzo (Xanax, Valium etc.) which has instant effects and will put you to sleep but please understand that these drugs CAN and WILL make you experience physical and emotional dependance ALOT worse than cannabis or any opiate will, this of course only happens with long term daily use but even then you should be careful.

My honest opinion: Its all in your head, your not withdrawing off cannabis (Unless you have been smoking for YEARS, daily) and even then you should just wait it off as there are absolutely no dangers in withdrawing and not consuming cannabis (Trust me :P).

These 2 meds are in two completely different classes. Prozac is a SSRI (serotonin reuptake inhibitor) while Concerta is methylphenidate, a stimulant--acts on the dopamine in your brain. Concerta is essentially the same as Ritalin, only it's an extended release version. Prozac is used to treat depression/anxiety, among other uses, while Concerta is used to treat ADHD/ADD. That said, depression/anxiety can have symptoms that mimic the symptoms of ADHD. Lack of focus, concentration, irritability...to name a few. A diagnosis of ADD often comes after trials of SSRI treatment don't work. And also, sometimes these 2 meds are prescribed together, as oftentimes, ADHD and anxiety can go hand-in-hand.

Safety of this drug is not established in pregnancy. So it should not be used in first trimester. To use it onwards depends upon the benefit in individual patient and your physician will decide the same.

They often do. However some people when depressed don't feel like eating and lose weight, as their mood improves while taking antidepressants their appetite returns they eat more and gain weight. Did the antidepressants make them gain weight, or did the antidepressants just allow them to eat normally and regain their normal weight (which some people dislike).
