Your son is having constant pain in his upper left chest what could the cause be?
It could be a few things -- let's dispense with the emergencies first (you may not need to read the rest). Upper left chest pain occurs during cardiovascular accidents (CVA's), e,g, heart attacks. If you think this is the problem, stop reading and start a 911 call. If you aren't sure, read on: CVA's usually have some or all of the following symptoms and factors -- if a few show up in your son's history, the odds of it being a heart attack get higher: * Clamping is fist to his chest * Shortness of breath. * Referred pain making the left arm, neck, jaw and/or armpit hurt. * Sweathing/disphoresis * Turning pale or cyanotic/blue * Nausea * Irregular pulse * HIstory or prior cardiac complications. The more of these question that get a yes, the more likely this is a CVA. If so, time is limited. Take a moment to think and then call 911. If not too many -- or best, none -- of these symptoms show up, it could be other things. Okay -- that's likely the worst. If you're still here let's look at them. * Spinal trauma (like whiplash can cause this effect -- was your son the unluckly victim of sudden deceleration trauma (a fenderbender, a fall, etc.), today? If so, unless the fall was serious, this may work like whiplash. Coldpacks and mild painkillers/antiinflamatories and it'll go away. Of course, if at any point you aren't sure or want reasurrance, call the ER. * If the pain is associated with breathing, it could be anything from pneumonia to a cracked rib to a strained (intercostal most likley) muscle. If he has a fever or a cough (of or course both), start thinking chest infection, which calls for a doctor. * Is there a sign of impact or trauma on the chest? If he fell or ran into something you'll see a bruise. As breathing makes the chest move all the time, such painful events are exacerbated and continue to occur. Call 911 or an ER if: * The pain is unbearable. * The pain interferes with breathing. * Your son is pale, sweaty, or cyanotic. * if the pain is associated with coughing. * If he's expectorating blood. * If there are signs of a severe trauma at the pain site. * If you are seriously worried -- that's enough to call for help. Good luck!
Don't worry about it. It's perfectly natural to have on breast grow faster than the other, and in time, they will even out.

What are 5 ways that teens can look after themselves during puberty?
# Keep your body clean, washing under the arms and around the genitals, also the feet on a daily basis. These areas very quickly become smelly because of your sweat glands working more since puberty started. # Go to bed at a reasonable time at night because teens need more sleep than adults and pre-pubescent children. You don't want to be late for school do you. # Don't listen to tales from other teenagers about how many times they have done it, how many they have done it with etc etc. These and other boasts like how big his penis is, are all lies. Stay out of it as you only get a bad name when you take part in these lies. # Don't involve yourself with sex as your body is changing and this includes your brain. You are not developed enough to understand the full potential this could make on your life like getting pregnant so early on. Make sure you have all the facts about sex and how to stay clean from diseases like STDs, using contraception and where to get it for free. # Be home early at night and stay away from strangers, don't get into drinking alcohol and doing stupid things. Not only does alcohol make you drunk and vulnerable to people who will take advantage of you but it will damage your health just like smoking does. Alcohol your liver and cigarettes your lungs. If you add them all up there are more than five here but there are others also.

What are the main changes thet happen to boys and girls during puberty?
Changes in Behavior and Attitude:
Boys and girls undergoing physical changes during puberty also undergo changes in behavior and attitude. A boy may feel awkward when he suddenly grows tall or when his voice becomes deeper. This is more so when other boys in his group do not appear to have changed yet. He feels that he is 'different'. A girl whose breasts have become noticeable may feel self-conscious and will try to keep away from others. The appearance of acne or pimples may be a cause of embarrassment to a boy or a girl.
As boys and girls change physically, their interests also change. Before, they may be interested in toys; now they are interested in other things such as their appearance.
Boys and girls may also feel restless and irritable as they go through puberty because they are no longer children but not yet adults (adolescents).
Sometimes the boys voice gets huge and loud and scratchy.
