Surah Yasin has been called the heart of Quran. As regards the reason why this chapter is called the heart of the Quran, the scholars stated that it is because it contains many great matters concerning confirming the Oneness of Allaah, the Resurrection, the Recompense, and so forth, so it is like a heart in its importance compared to other limbs of the body.
The Surah was revealed in the city of Makkah. The Surah is based on eighty three verses which have been classified into five main sections. The Surah starts with the affirmation of our dearest Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that he is on the right path indeed.
The Surah first narrates the story of the settlement and then asks its readers to think hard on the phenomenon on which this world is running. It asks the people to ponder on stars and planets and the sun to learn about the origination of the world and see if they could find any other person then the Supreme Being who have created the whole universe. Allah (SWT) asks the non believers to ponder on the realities of the world and then decide if anything else is worthy of being worshipped.
The third phase of the Surah deals with the resurrection. It makes it clear to the non believers that it is hard to put back pieces of dead things back, however, Allah (SWT) says that water will also hold the power to resurrect the dead on the Day of Judgment.
The Surah then turns over to the behaviour of capitalists who do not help the poor or needy due to their greediness. The Surah also clears that non believers used to call Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) a poet, however, he is not a poet, and he only carries the message of Allah (SWT). He (Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him) only preaches what Allah (SWT) asks him to preach. His knowledge is authentic and does not carry imaginary tales or false assertions.
It has been reported by Aisha (radiAllahu anha) that the Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said that there is a surah in the Quran that intercedes for its reciter and forgive its listener. Know! It is Surah Yasin. It is called Muamma in the Torah. It was enquired, what is Muamma? The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, it embraces the person with the goodness of this world and removes the dismay of the Hereafter [Hashiya of Tafsir Jalalayn , pg 368]
At another place, Al-Hafiz Abu Ya'la recorded that Abu Hurayrah radiallahu anhu said, "The Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever recites Ya Sin in the night, will wake up forgiven, and whoever recites Ha Mim in which Ad-Dukhan (the Smoke) is mentioned, will wake up forgiven". Its chain of narration is good (Jayyid). [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]
There are many other virtues as well, which have been attributed to Surah Yaseen. If you recite it in the early part of the day, your all needs will be fulfilled. Another tradition of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) declares that whoever recites this Surah, his past sins will be forgiven therefore, and you should recite it for those who are dead!
Which surah is Idrees is mentioned in the Quran?
- In Chapter Mariam " Mary":
( Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: He was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet: And We raised him to a lofty station).
( Holy Quran,19 :56-57)
-In Chapter Al-Anbiya'a " The prophets":
( And (remember) Isma'il, Idris, and Zul-kifl, all (men) of constancy and patience; We admitted them to Our mercy: for they were of the righteous ones).
(Holy Quran, 21 :85-86)
The building you are referencing is called a Mosque, however most Muslims call it by its Arabic word, Masjid. This is a place where Muslims can go to offer the 5 daily prayers in a congregation instead of individually, and a majority of the male Muslim population goes to a mosque for the noon prayer on Friday, in which a sermon is spoken and then a congregation prayer follows.
Who is the 2 prophets spoke of in Revelation chapter 11 verse 10?
There are three candidates for these two, which are most commonly mentioned. They are Elijah, Enoch and Moses. The first two are the most likely, since the Bible reports that they were taken to heaven and did not die. Moses is one possibility which some consider due to the similarities between the actions of the two and many of Moses actions as recorded in the Old Testament.
Are the five pillars of Islam in the Qur'an?
Prayers are said at dawn, mid-day, late-afternoon, sunset and nightfall, and thus determine the rhythm of the entire day. These five prescribed prayers contain verses from the Qur'an, and are said in Arabic, the language of the Revelation. Personal supplications, however, can be offered in one's own language and at any time.
Although it is preferable to worship together in a mosque, a Muslim may pray almost anywhere, such as in fields, offices, factories and universities. Oftentimes visitors to the Muslim world are struck by the centrality of prayers in daily life.
A translation of the Adan or Call to Prayer is:
God is Great.
God is Great.
God is Great.
God is Great.
I testify that there is none worthy of worship except God.
I testify that there is none worthy of worship except God.
I testify that Muhammad is the messenger of God.
I testify that Muhammad is the messenger of God.
Come to prayer!
Come to prayer!
Come to success!
Come to success!
God is Great!
God is Great!
There is none worthy of worship except God.
ZakahThe financial obligation upon Muslims.
An important principle of Islam is that everything belongs to God, and that wealth is therefore held by human beings in trust. The word zakah means both "purification" and "growth." Our possessions are purified by setting aside a proportion for those in need and for the society in general. Like the pruning of plants, this cutting back balances and encourages new growth. Each Muslim calculates his or her own zakah individually. This involves the annual payment of a fortieth of one's capital, excluding such items as primary residence, car and professional tools.
An individual may also give as much as he or she pleases as sadaqa-h, and does so preferably in secret. Although this word can be translated as "voluntary charity" it has a wider meaning.
The Prophet said, "Even meeting your brother with a cheerful face is an act of charity." The Prophet also said: "Charity is a necessity for every Muslim." He was asked: "What if a person has nothing?" The Prophet replied: "He should work with his own hands for his benefit and then give something out of such earnings in charity." The Companions of the Prophet asked: "What if he is not able to work?" The Prophet said: "He should help the poor and needy." The Companions further asked: "What if he cannot do even that?" The Prophet said: "He should urge others to do good." The Companions said: "What if he lacks that also?" The Prophet said: "He should check himself from doing evil. That is also an act of charity."
Sawm or FastingEvery year in the month of Ramada-n, all Muslims fast from dawn until sundown--abstaining from food, drink, and sexual relations with their spouses. Those who are sick, elderly, or on a journey, and women who are menstruating, pregnant or nursing, are permitted to break the fast and make up an equal number of days later in the year if they are healthy and able. Children begin to fast (and to observe prayers) from puberty, although many start earlier.
Although fasting is beneficial to health, it is mainly a method of self-purification and self-restraint. By cutting oneself from worldly comforts, even for a short time, a fasting person focuses on his or her purpose in life by constantly being aware of the presence of God. God states in the Qur'an: "O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed to those before you that you may learn self-restraint." (Qur'an 2:183)
Hajj or PilgrimageThe pilgrimage to Makkah (the hajj) is an obligation only for those who are physically and financially able to do so. Nevertheless, over two million people go to Makkah each year from every corner of the globe providing a unique opportunity for those of different nations to meet one another. The annual hajj begins in the twelfth month of the Islamic year (which is lunar, not solar, so that hajj and Ramada-n fall sometimes in summer, sometimes in winter). Pilgrims wear special clothes: simple garments that strip away distinctions of class and culture, so that all stand equal before God.
The rites of the hajj, which are of Abrahamic origin, include going around the Ka'bah seven times, and going seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwa as did Hagar (Hajir, Abraham's wife) during her search for water. The pilgrims later stand together on the wide plains of 'Arafat (a large expanse of desert outside Makkah) and join in prayer for God's forgiveness, in what is often thought as a preview of the Day of Judgment.
The close of the hajj is marked by a festival, the 'Id al Adha, which is celebrated with prayers and the exchange of gifts in Muslim communities everywhere. This and the 'Id al Fitr, a festive day celebrating the end of Ramada-n, are the two holidays of the Islamic calendar.
Is the Koran inspired in the Bible?
No. This is not true. All evidence show that the Qur'an could not have been copied from the Bible. Take for example the story of the flood that occurred in the days of the prophet Noah, on whom be peace. This event is narrated in both the Bible and the Qur'an. A careful examination of the two versions will show that the Qur'anic version could have come from no other source but God alone. One important difference between the two accounts is that whereas the Bible describes the flood as a worldwide flood (see Genesis Ch. 7) the Qur'an mentions it as a local flood affecting the people of Noah (see Qur'an 7:59-64). Today it is acknowledged that no record exists of a worldwide flood occurring at the time specified in the Bible. How did the author of the Qur'an avoid this mistake unless the author was God Himself?
The closest thing in history to a flood like the one described in the Bible and the Qur'an, is a discovery made by Archaeologist Sir Charles Leonard Wooley. In 1929 he discovered remains from a flood which occurred around 4000 BC. His findings are described in the book entitled The Bible as History by Werner Keller.
Keller tells us: "The incredible discovery at Ur made headline news in the United States and in Britain" (The Bible as History, 2nd Revised Edition, Bantam Books, 1980, p.27). But was this a worldwide flood? After describing the extent of the flood, Keller explains; "Looking at the map we should call it today 'a local occurrence"' (p.28). "In other words." writes Keller. that flood was "obviously not of sufficient magnitude for the Biblical Flood" (p.29). Furthermore, he says; "A flood of the unimaginable extent described in the Bible still remains 'archaeologically not demonstrated" (pp.29-30).
Another comparison will again demonstrate that the Qur'an was not copied from the Bible. In the Bible we are told that God drowned the Pharaoh and his army when they pursued Moses, on whom be peace, and his people (see Exodus 14:28). The clear indication in that description is that the body of the Pharaoh perished in the sea. However, the Qur'an dared to differ and prove true. In the Qur'an we find that God promised to preserve the body of the Pharaoh as a sign for later generations (see Qur'an 10:90-92).
True to the Qur'anic promise, the mummified body of the Pharaoh was discovered by Loret in 1898 at Thebes in the Kings' Valley (see The Bible, the Qur'an and Science by Dr. Maurice Bucaille, p.238). From there it was transported to Cairo. Elliot Smith removed its wrappings on July 8,1907 and gave a detailed description in his book entitled the Royal Mummies (19l2).
From which source did the author of the Qur'an derive this information? How did the author of the Qur'an know that the Pharaoh's body was preserved whereas the knowledge that the ancient Egyptians mummified their dead was not discovered until recently? And how could the author of the Qur'an predict that the body of the Pharaoh will be discovered later, unless the author was God Himself?
Answer
If the author of Qur'an is God himself, then it must free from Contradiction or errors.

The definition that most people use when they say "Islamic Republic" is the Iranian style of government. It has an elected house of congress made of laypersons and a lay president. However, it has a powerful judiciary made of Islamic Scholars who have a veto over all laws, appointments, and candidate selection for the congress and the president.

Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet and a very good man. The do not believe that He was / is the Son of God, as Christians do. The do not believe in His deity, or His return.
As Written in Quran
1)
Al-Qur'an, 002.087 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])
We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!
2)
002.136 Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)."
Al-Qur'an, 002.136 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])
3)
002.253 Those messengers We endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.
Al-Qur'an, 002.253 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])
4)
003.003 It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
Al-Qur'an, 003.003 (Aal-E-Imran [The Family of Imran])
There are 25 Verces of Jesus(PBUH) in Quran and in 3 its a Refrences to Jesus(PBUH) total 28 so according to these Verces we Muslims dont Beleive Jesus(PHUB) as a Son of Allah but Son of Mary
and he is considered as one the Prophets which send by Allah to ManKind.....
Jazak Allah. The answer is quite comprehensive. We may add that the birth of Hazrat Jesus Christ (MPBUH) was miraculous. His ascent to heavens is miraculous as the holy Qur'an says that he was not crucifies, rather Almighty God saved him and instead the person who entered the prison was given the resemblance of Jesus and thus he was crucified, while Hazrat Jesus Christ (May peace be upon him) ascended to heaven where he is still alive and will descend to the earth before the end of the world.
What does Muhammad teach his followers?
Praise be to Allah, the Almighty, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Universe, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, last of the Prophets, and upon all those who adhere to his example until the Day of Judgement. The Mushrik Nobles in Makkah wanted ti silence Muhammad alihisalam because He wanted people to worship 1 Allah Kareem and stop worshipping millions of Self dessined Gods:Muhammad alihisalam wanted people to say "O Allah u r 1 we worship u alone without associating any partners to U and only Your assistance do we seek". The Nobles Knew if People got aware about truth ,it will be difficult for these nobles to Loot/Fool people and eat their money in the name of religion or good deeds.
Some of the main Teachings of Muhammad Last Prophet towards whole mankind [peace be upon him and his faithful beautiful Suhabahs/campanions that include Aba Bakr, Ummar ibnil Khattab,Usmaan bin Afaan & Ali Radhiyallahuanhoo] is:-
Faith is the foundation upon which the whole structure of nations is based. Therefore, the progress of each nation is dependent upon the maintenance of its faith and ideology. Thus, all Prophets (peace be upon them) have called for true faith. Every Prophet told his people from the very beginning, "Worship Allah, the Almighty. You have no other god but Him".(1) "We assuredly sent amongst every people an Apostle, (with the command), Serve Allah and eschew evil".(2) This is because Allah the Almighty created all people to worship Him alone and set up no associate to Him. "I have only created jinns and men that they may worship Me".(3)
Worship is the exclusive right of Allah owed to Him by His creation mankind. Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) once said to Muath ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him): "Do you know what duties and rights people have towards Allah'? The duty of mankind towards Allah is to worship Him and attribute no partner to Him. The right of mankind is that Allah will not torture those who do not attribute any partner to Him".(4) This right of worship is the foremost right of Allah owed to Him by His people. "Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him." (5) "Say : Come, I will recite to you what Allah has really forbidden to you : Join not any-thing as equal with Allah".(6)
This right has priority over all other rights because it is the foundation upon which all other precepts of the religion (of Islam) are based.
Therefore, the Prophet (peace be upon him) during the thirteen years of his preaching in Makkah, constantly called upon people to observe this right of Allah and forbid any partner to Him. The Holy Quran in most of its verses, has confirmed this concept and negated any resemblance to Him. Every Muslim in his five daily prayers pledges to Allah to observe this right by saying, "You alone do we worship and only Your assistance do we seek". (7)
This great right is referred to as the singleness of worship, deity or objective and purpose. This monotheism is ingrained in man's nature. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said "Every child is born with a (pure) innate character. His parents may turn him to become a Jew, a Christian or Mazdist" (8). Therefore, believing in the oneness of Allah is innate and original, whereas idolatry is spurious and unnatural. Man will deviate from the right path only because of false upbringing and surroundings. Allah the Almighty stated in the Holy Quran "Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book, in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed".(9) Simarly, He, the Almighty, also stated in they Holy Quran "Mankind was but one nation, but differed later". (10)
Moreover, Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) said, "Ten centuries lapsed from Adam to Noah (peace be upon them and all people adhered to Islam during that perished". (11) Ibn-ulQaiyim, the learned scholar, commented on this by saying "This interpretation (by Ibn Abbas) of the above verse is correct."(12) He cited examples from the Holy Quran to support this idea an confirmed it in his commentary, "The Meaning of the Quran".
The first incident of polytheism took place among the people of Noah when they exceeded the limits of respect for their saints and started worshipping them despite exhortation by their Prophets. As it is stated in the Holy Quran"And they have said (to each other), abandon not your gods : abandon neither Wadd for Suwa, neither Yaguth not Yauq".(13) Bukhari quoted Ibn Abbas as saying that "The above names were those of pious men among the people of Noah. When these pious men died, Satan suggested to the people of Noah that they erect statues of those pious men in their homes and call the statues by these pious men's names. Thus, people did so, but did not worship the statues. The statues, however, in later generations become idols to be worshipped." (14)
