When rabbits eat what do they do?
No, a producer is an organism that can make its own food. Most plants are producers. They use the sun's energy to create glucose (energy). Rabbits cannot create their own food so they have to eat the producers. Rabbits are considered consumers.
Do wild rabbits give diseases to domestic rabbits?
yes....thats all i know.........................................wow
If they can catch them!
Sometimes they will just leave the dead bodies for you as "gifts of love".
My cat just plays with them. She had the one as a 'friend' for 2 years. They would play in the backyard, and sometimes she would bring it in the house. But then in year 3, it's gone. She probably killed it. PROBABLY, but not certainly. Chimpmunks probably don't have very long life's, I think that goes relative to the animals size, for the most part.
Some smell gross and stinky...their excrement is like little marbles. Also, they only smell good if you give them a shower every two days.
What is the difference between Arctic hares and normal hares?
Size
Male and female arctic hares' ears are shorter than rabbits' and overly long hind feet that let them hit speeds of up to 40 mph. The females, however, tend to be slightly larger than the males. Males often fall between 6 and 9 pounds, while females usually weigh between 9 and 11 pounds. Both are close to 2 feet long from nose to tail.
Aggression
Males tend to be more aggressive than females, especially during mating season, which falls in early to middle spring. Males fight each other as one of their means of attracting females. They stand on their hind legs, similar to kangaroos, and box or scratch each other. Males can be aggressive during mating, biting the female on the neck hard enough to draw blood.
Coloring
Both genders sport the same colors -- white with black ear tips in the winter and gray or brown in the summer. Many keep darker fur on their bellies through the winter and might have some white fur that stays around on their sides, legs and back all summer. However, females begin to molt and lose their winter fur before the males do. This gets them ready for the spring mating season; their bodies can focus on growing babies rather than changing fur color.
Parenting
Arctic hare babies are able to see and move around almost immediately after birth. They still need to be nursed, which is the female's job. Males tend to stay with their mates until the babies are born. After two or three days, the males leave the nest -- which the females built -- and let the females handle all the child-rearing. Males might have more than one mate per season, although females typically have only one.

Do snowshoe rabbits eat pine trees?
no rabbits shouldn't eat pine. they can eat it but the taste is much to strong making the rabbit lose its appetite.
No! Please be nice and treat your pets with some respect! They do not need you to stuff them in clothes, their lives are miserable enough being locked in a cage bored to death their whole life! Let them out every now and then to run around, clean their cages regulary and give them Tummy vegetables for treats but don't be cruel!
What evidence would you look for to show that rabbits eat lettuces?
Slugs leave a trail of slime and little tiny round droppings everywhere they go.

The main characteristic that will guarantee if the Angora Rabbit is a mammal, is if the female produces milk. if not, it isn't one.
What happens if a wild baby rabbit scratches you?
If a wild baby rabbit scratches you, it is most likely that nothing will happen. It is a good idea to clean the wound and if it is very deep, see a doctor. Sometimes you can get an infection from scratches from wild animals.
Yes, they have continually growing teeth like the beaver or hamster. They need to gnaw on hard foods to ware the teeth down.
Does a bunny have a competition?
Definitely, a male has to compete for a spouse. during hard seasons they have to compete for food. I hope this really helps.
Do you have to take rabbits to the vet if they are pregnant?
Not really, but if you don't have the experience to check, then I would take her to the vets.
To check you get the index finger and the thumb and check for small marble type balls in the lower stomach, but only check once the the rabbits have mated and then wait 2 weeks to see if they are their, because you don't want to damage the babies. If their is more than 2 marbles in the lower stomach, your rabbit is pregnant with kittens (not actual kittens but baby rabbits). Be careful not to check to early, as that can lead to damage of the babies !
I should think you can. We have a lop rabbit and it has a corner pot to urinate and poo in.
Dwarf rabbits might have a reputation of being a little naughty. I don't know if this affects their trainability but, generally speaking, pet rabbits can be litter-trained, and they can be socialized to be gentle and friendly and (somewhat) obedient. Some also like endurance training (jumping). See Related Questions (below) for more information.
