My cat just plays with them. She had the one as a 'friend' for 2 years. They would play in the backyard, and sometimes she would bring it in the house. But then in year 3, it's gone. She probably killed it. PROBABLY, but not certainly. Chimpmunks probably don't have very long life's, I think that goes relative to the animals size, for the most part.

What is the difference between Arctic hares and normal hares?
Size
Male and female arctic hares' ears are shorter than rabbits' and overly long hind feet that let them hit speeds of up to 40 mph. The females, however, tend to be slightly larger than the males. Aggression
Males tend to be more aggressive than females, especially during mating season, which falls in early to middle spring. Males fight each other as one of their means of attracting females. Coloring
Both genders sport the same colors -- white with black ear tips in the winter and gray or brown in the summer. Many keep darker fur on their bellies through the winter and might have some white fur that stays around on their sides, legs and back all summer. However, females begin to molt and lose their winter fur before the males do. This gets them ready for the spring mating season; their bodies can focus on growing babies rather than changing fur color.
Parenting
Arctic hare babies are able to see and move around almost immediately after birth. They still need to be nursed, which is the female's job. Males tend to stay with their mates until the babies are born. After two or three days, the males leave the nest -- which the females built -- and let the females handle all the child-rearing. Males might have more than one mate per season, although females typically have only one.

No! Please be nice and treat your pets with some respect! They do not need you to stuff them in clothes, their lives are miserable enough being locked in a cage bored to death their whole life! Let them out every now and then to run around,clean their cages regulary and give them Tummy vegetables for treats but don't be cruel!

To check you get the index finger and the thumb and check for small marble type balls in the lower stomach, but only check once the the rabbits have mated and then wait 2 weeks to see if they are their, because you don't want to damage the babies. If their is more than 2 marbles in the lower stomach, your rabbit is pregnant with kittens (not actual kittens but baby rabbits). Be careful not to check to early, as that can lead to damage of the babies !

Dwarf rabbits might have a reputation of being a little naughty. i want to know this too cause i shot a rabbit and wanted to eat it but it had a tape worm so didnt.... if you cook it good enough will it be ok??? no have you not heard that you can get tape worms from cooked burgers..same applies here
