Mine became over weight and the vet suggested less pellets ( too many pellets is not good for a rabbit), more greens and fresh veggies, at least two cups. Also, more exercise.

There should always be hay. For rabbits that are over a year old, they should be given 1/4 to 1/2 cups of pellets for every 6 lbs. of body weight and a minimum of 2 cups of veggies for the same body weight.

I heard on the local news that moose cannot digest the rich alfalfa we may be tempted to leave out for them. The chemical contents of their digestive juices changes during the winter, to be able to digest twigs, stems and heavier stuff. When you feed them alfalfa it may fill their stomachs, but cannot be properly digested, and so the animal may die of starvation even with a full stomach. I don't know if this is true for grass hay as well.

Rabbits can eat plum, but not too much, and not the pit/stone inside. Plum is a good treat food for rabbits. The House Rabbit Society recommends no more than 2 tablespoons of natural treat food per day for a healthy, normal 6 pound rabbit. See the related question below for more info about the rabbit diet.

put a buncha carrots down there and wait. when you hear them down there chomping and partying, quietly go down the stairs and then on the last step lunge and scream toward the hares, being careful not to look directly in their eyes. grab as many as you can and stuff them down your pants so they wont escape.

There may have been many things that caused the hole, but there is a possibility that the bunny was shot by someone playing Elmer Fudd, and it got away. If you can get it to a vet who works on wild animals (without being bitten), great. If not, there is a good chance that the bunny will recover on its own. Keep an eye on it.

Well it really depends mostly on how much you care for it/them. The main source of smell is in the hutch or cage, that is why you should clean out your guinea pigs a minimum of three times a week. Obviously all animals can smell whilst doing the toilet but my two male guinea pigs don't give off many bad smells. Hope this helped a bit

If she is delivering dead bunnies you need to find out why, is she in an environment that scares her? Is she being bred to a buck that is too big? Is she delivering just one baby or is she delivering a full litter?

Rabbits change their color. In spring, their fur is brown, and in the winter their fur is white.

This is more of how to be accepted amongst them. As much as to attract them. To begin with, wolves aren't really attracted to anything much accept a female in heat or a dead body. As I said, not much. But being accepted is another thing. Just submit yourself if you are trying for a low acceptance. It depends on where you live. Your local (regional) government probably has some sort of Animal Services, or Wildlife & Game, or some such department. If you visit your local government's website, you'll probably find the information you need or, if not, contact details for someone you can ask.

Yes, but only give them a small amount. Carrots are high in sugars and starches and too much can make a rabbit ill. Carrot greens are great for rabbits and can be included in the rotation of "salad" greens, but the carrot itself should be limited as a treat. When you train a rabbit, be firm. Don't hit or spank the bunny, but don't be too lenient either. Use a treat like pieces of carrot, broccoli, celery, apples, and pears. ONLY give your rabbit the treats stated above. Others might not be edible for a rabbit. ONLY give the treat when the rabbit has reached your expectations. If you give the treat when the rabbit has not done the trick or command, the rabbit will think he had done the right thing and ignore you the next time. Training sessions should last 5-10 minutes.

cats will hunt down and kill anything from bears to sword fish. this is not a lie because i have seen this done in my backyard. rabbits are just there warm up for larger pray there just very fast that is the only challenge. fyi cats love cake also

Nothing. Rabbits are pretty much doomed when in presence of a fox unles its full then they may play. well if its a cub. Only thing the fox would hate is if the rabbit wouyld fight back and scratch. but it basically doesnt stand a chance
