If you own a Nascar team you probably don't make much money at all, and some might even spend more then they make. For drivers it all depends on who you work for, and for crew members it depends on what you do on the team.
But as far as owning a team, there is an old saying about racing, "To make a small fortune in racing you start with a big one".

What are facts about barrel racing?
Ok, this will be long. Barrel racing is a sport where mostly women race in a cloverleaf pattern and try to get the fastest time. The best horses for this sport tend to be quarter horses, but I, as a barrel racer, prefer palominos. It is important that the horses used have the athletic ability and are treated like athletes. This sport does not abuse horses because the horses used are properly trained and love what they do. MOST people that race a lot have backup horses as well so that their main horses can get a break. My horse is named Gold Dust and I think there are some really cool names out there. I also like the concept of a registered name and a barn name so I call my horse Firefly. I'm not at a super intense level so I only have one horse. Actually I am just starting but I have known a lot about the sport for a long time. Hope this helps. If you want to know more you should watch a barrel race vlog. I find it easier than explaining it to everyone to have them watch one.
Should racing on motor bikes be banned?
To begin with, Extreme Sports are tons of fun! They are completely adrenalin packed as well and it'd be pretty bad to see the looks on people's faces if they were taken away from them!In my opinion, Extreme Sports shouldn't be banned but if you think that Extreme Sports should be banned then feel free to go by your own opinion! Here are some reasons why Extreme Sports should be banned:
- They are of high risk and could easily cause your death
- If someone dies, their loved ones will be left very upset
- They have been many many deaths over the past two decades!
- So if we keep Extreme Sports on the go, there will be lots of more deaths
- If we keep Extreme Sports, many little children who view these acts will be tempted to try the same thing which would not end happily for the little kid
I hope these reasons helped you Wether you're writing an exposition or just proving a point. :O)
How long can an formula 1 car maintain its top speed?
A F1 car does not reach 200 mph speed. The fastest known F1 cars have been in the range of 325 kmph which works out to around 185 mph. The time taken by a f1 car to reach speeds are:
0 to 100 kmph (62 mph): 2 seconds
0 to 200 kmph (124 mph): 4 seconds
9 to 300 kmph (185 mph): 9 seconds
The numbers above are indicative and may depend heavily on the cars aerodynamic set up and gearing ratios. Also, the time taken might differ from one f1 car to another.

Horses have a mind of their own so yes any kind of horse riding could be considered dangerous but Barrel Racing is definitely going to be on the higher danger scale. I mean you're running break neck speeds around barrels if you're advanced and any fall off a horse can hurt. So yes ultimately it's dangerous but it you have the proper training, a good horse, and are safely equipped and don't try to do things in a dangerous way such as velcro or rubber band your feet to the stirrups you should have a great experience and be able to get right back on if you have the occasional fall.
NASCAR stands for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. A mechanic from Atlanta named Red Vogt came up with the acronim and the name. Red Vogt was the mechanic for Red Byron, NASCAR's first champion. He owned a garage on Hemphill avenue in Atlanta where moonshiners running shine from Dawsonville GA into Atlanta could get their cars "supped up" to outrun law enforcement. The owner of Red Byrons car was Raymond Parks a known moonshiner who still owns a liquor store on Northside drive in Atlanta. Parks, Byron and Vogt were NASCARs first 'team'. these men all met with Bill France in Daytona at Hotel on the beach. They all came together to form the organization that we all know as NASCAR today. If this interests you please find a book called DRIVING WITH THE DEVIL. It tells the early history of NASCAR and is an easy read.
