Caribou.

They are not nocturnal. For they are just like their cousins the deer, elk, and moose which also do not have the characteristics of being nocturnal.

I not sure of the scientific ones but know that reindeers have antlers and wolfs don't.

Rudolph is a red nosed reindeer who was born with a red gleaming nose. when he was young the bucks and does would make fun of him and call him names. he even was rejected to play the reindeer games which makes Rudolph sullen and sad. so sad that he ran away and left his parents. the doe of his life ties to look for him as well as his parents.then in Christmas eve it was foggy .at the same night they found Rudolph and his new friends too. so Santa was about to cancel Christmas until he found him his nose gave him the idea of using Rodolph to guide his seigh.so after that ever since all the reindeer loved him and his father Donner was proud of him and he was the leader of the reindeer ever since.
