Ted died in St Ignace, Michigan in the 1970's. A member of the Presbyterian Church and a wonderful teacher. Ted's wife a classical Viola and Piano player accompanied him for several years like Les Paul and May Ford. He was a crooner and sounded just like Bing Crosby. He was my first guitar teacher, I will never forget him.
He also played behind Perry Como.
He taught me from the music tracks on the movies South of the Border and San Antonio Rose along with Yellow Bird. He had a great 1940 Gibson L5 blonde guitar with floating De Armound pick ups.
