So that means that the mass of all the people is ~ 1/100,000,000,000,000 (1/10^15) that of earth. I guess I am not understanding the question. These are two separate issues. They may be indirectly related at times but they are different issues. If you ask which is more important, they are both important. "What are the things you are speaking of?"

I believe you meant to ask HOW ARE THINGS? -- this is an informal greeting similar to "how are you?" You answer by saying how things are with you -- either good, OK, so-so, or not so good.
