Just try plugging it into the computer, if it's windows vista it might work because normal 360 controllers work with vista. If it won't work you could probably just find a driver or something from the internet that will make it work. I'm certain there would be something like that somewhere on the internet, the internet has everything.

For the ever popular video game Rock Band, the world tour mode allows up to 4 people in one room to play pre-set, custom, and random setlists in venues around the world. Each time a set list is performed to completion, the band is rewarded with a larger fanbase. If the same setlist is replayed, the performance must equal or surpass the previous with regard to how many stars (up to 5 per song x the number of songs in the set list). Also, the band must also move up in difficulty as the tour progresses. Medium, for example, peaks out at 260,000 fans. To gain more EVERY band member must move to hard to gain more. Ultimately, the mystery setlists at the larger venues (and the mystery sets with the larger number of unknown tracks) and the non-corporate/charity shows will earn more the fans the fastest. My band is currently approaching 100,000,000 fans but as large a number as that is, we have a looooong way to go to get into the top 250... but what a great ride!

First, you'll need a guitar. They usually come with the game, if not you can purchase them in stores for about 50$. Use the strum to go up and down, the Green fret to select, the Red fret to go back.

Well first you have to find out if it has a wireless network (if the net gear does I mean) if it doesn't or you don't have a wireless switch box then you have no choice but to buy the network adapter from Nintendo. If you think that is too expensive try to get a mock up from amazon or something but keep this in mind the ones not from Nintendo are not covered by Nintendo.

If you just need to fix up the drum pad sensitivity, the pads snap off and on easily. (Disclaimer: I have Rock Band 1 drums for the Wii, so I'm not responsible if this isn't true for RB2 drums too) If you want to take it apart for another reason, just snap off the drum pads and unscrew all the screws.

I'm assuming that would like to know how much you should expect to pay for a drumset. If you were to ask ten different drummer what kind of drumset you should get, you would probably get ten very different answers. Instead of telling you what type of drumset to buy, I will advise you as to what you should look for in a good quality drumset.

First, a piece of advice. I would suggest that before you buy a drumset, you find a qualified private teacher in your area who will is able to teach you the basics of music reading and technique on snare drum. You can usually find out about area persussion instructors at your local music store.

That being said, you should go to a local music store and try out some student model drumsets to find out the ones that you like. The most important thing at this point would be to look at the hardware and how the setting are adjusted. Look and the snare drum and cymbals stands and especially the tom arms to make sure that they are adjusted easily and that you can easily put them in a play that feels comfortable for you to play.

One thing that is also important is that you don't have to buy an expensive drumset for it to sound good. The most important contributing factor to the sound of your drums is the head. You can buy a cheap drumset and put expensive heads on it (which don't cost that much) and if you tune them well, then you can make it sound pretty good. Also, you can take an expensive drumset set and putty cheap drumheads on it and tune it poorly and it will wound pretty bad.

For drumheads, I would suggest either Remo Weatherking or Evans Genera G2. Clear on the toms and coated on the snare. For the bass, I like the Weatherking for jazz/funk music and the Remo Powerstroke 3 for rock music.

That brings us to cymbals. Unlike drums, whose sound can be influenced with drum heads, with cymbals you get what you pay for. This early in your drumming "career", you can get a cymbal prepack. I would suggest the Sabian B8 pack. You can get a pack with hi-hat, crash and ride cymbals for less than you would pay for them individually. The B8 is a student line, so you will want to upgrade in the next several years. I would suggest upgrading one cymbal at a time. Also, when you upgrade, DO NOT by a prepack. As you play more and more, your ears will start to become "trained". You will find that every cymbal will sound different. You can take three Sabian HH 16" Paper Thin crash cymbals, put them side by side and they will all sound different. Furthermore, you will find that not all cymbals sound good together. You will want to hear a cymbal before you buy it. Most large music stores (i.e. Guitar Center, Sam Ash, etc.) will let you bring in your cymbals and set them up on a demo kit so you can see how different cymbals sound with yours. Remember, this will be more important later, but not so much now.

I think you mean tune. You simply find out what the note e sounds like then you put your finger on the fifth fret and play it. this will give you the sound of the next string. you keep repeating that cycle until you come to the g string. Then you press the fourth fret. After that you repeat the normal cycle.

You can only use a rock band controller on both the ps2 and the ps3 if it mentions that it is compatible for both. Controllers designated for the ps2 cannot be used on the ps3, and controllers designated for the ps3 cannot be used on the ps2.

You need a guitar to play the guitar and bass. If you try to use a normal controller you will only be able too play as vocals, you cannot play guitar or bass with a normal controller.

Yes, you can get more songs on Rock Band. You have to buy them off of Xbox Live (or PS Network, or Nintendo Wi-Fi Pay & Play) though, which will cost you gamer points. Songs in Rock Band cost between 0 - 160 points a song (On PS Network, the songs can be free, $1 or $2, and on Wi-Fi, each song can be free, 100 points, or 200 points.) There are some track packs that make it easier to purchase songs and sometimes discount the price of the songs because they would cost more if you were to get them individually. Track packs go from 3 songs to even albums. Depending on the number of songs is the cost of gamer points you need.

Note that on the original Wii Rock Band, (not Rock Band 2 or 3) you cannot use Wi-Fi or Pay & Play so songs cannot be purchased and you cannot play online.
