What was the best rugby game ever?
Went to school in North wales so was lucky enough to be able to go to the Barbarians v New Zealand match in Cardiff in 1972.Unbelievable display of running rugby. Match still sticks in my mind after all those years, must have been good. Remarkable tries scored by both sides. The other best games of rugby I can remember are any of the ones in which Wales beat England! Unfortunately not as many as I would have liked!
Have to agree with Barbar answer.
Why do rugby players tape their arm up?
Forwards more that half backs and backs find it essential to use some form of outer ear protection. This is because the high volumes of collisions that hit the out ear and the rubbing against fabric causes a condition nicknamed "Colly flower ear". This is the tissue in the ear becoming damaged continually and the soft tissue being replaced by scar tissue.
If you look at Tight head props, Hookers 2nd rows and number 8 players they more than most have both ears suffering damage as both sides and in contact in scums. Loosehead, open and blind side flankers have one ear more damaged than the other.
Its a subtle difference but it does become noticeable - Not all players suffer ear damage but like any other sport its comes with the territory
a centre, usually runs a lot but is more powerful than a winger
Who is the best player in rugby 08?
the best star rugby player in rugby 08 is Brian O'Driscoll Reason being is that he has the ability to break through CPU Tackles (not the tackles performed by players - pressing x on ps2 or s on PC )
also i noticed when you hold the ball with Brian O'Driscoll sometimes the CPU players do not bind him even though they are a meter or less close to him. but if any other player they would be caught or dived 3-5 meters away, and also he is fast, that's the combination this star player has, once he breaks through a tackle he's gone like the wind, the only way to close this fella is to make sure that his opposite number and the fullback is a star player like Ma'a Nonu(All Blacks), Latham (Australia), Montgomery (South Africa)
But in kicking it would be Dan or Johnny !!!
The term in Rugby is Fly Half. It is also called Half Back.
In the union code this player is number 10 in league its number 6 and is a link between the scum half (their half back partner) and the backs (wings and centres) - Their role is normally to make play judgements as to whether the ball is passed across the backs or is kicked for position. This person normally will take kick off, restart games from a kick off, take penalty kicks and conversion kicks

Why don't rugby players wear pads?
A lot of players don't wear pads in their pants, because they believe it will slow them down; whether it be speed, agility, or simply, reaction time. This is why so many players object to the NFL's new rule in the 2013 season, stating that it will become mandatory for players to wear thigh and knee pads. Personally, I agree with the players. In college, I wore Yeh smallest(youth) pads I could find, and during my stint in arena and semi-pro, I NEVER wore them... So it kind of makes sense to me.
