I am not Kelly's representative, but as a former broadcaster, I can safely assume that she was given more money and/or more prestige at Fox 13. The prestige is evident. She anchors the weekend morning news, where at KUTV she seemed to be tied to the status of morning news "cub" reporter.

Yes. Every building on and around Temple Square is open for public tours daily, except for the Temple and the Church Administration Building.

The Temple is open only to practicing Mormons who have recieved a special reccomendation from their Bishop. For those interested, there is an accurate scale model and virtual tour of the Temple located in the South Visitors Center. The Temple is not open to the public both because of it's holy nature and because it is used six days a week for sacred worship services continuously from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., which tours would interrupt.
The Administration Building contains the offices of the top international leaders of the Church. It contains only private offices and is therefore not open for tours.
