Its like having the very depths of your soul ripped out through your heart, shoved up your butt and then ripped out with a pair of vise grips on every other friday just to squeeze the turdlings and butt juice over a piece of paper that you take to the check cashing place only to have one percent of your soul that fell onto that piece of paper along with the turds and butt juice taken out and given to some other soulless person. Thats what its like working at Einstein Bros. bagels anyway...
Vegemite is an Australian product, mate! Vegemite was invented by the aussies and is an Australian icon!
Benjamin Harrison, who was "sandwiched" between the two non-consecutive terms of Grover Cleveland.
Grover Cleveland was the only US President to be elected two times in non-consecutive terms.
The sandwich was invented by the English Earl of Sandwich who was such an inveterate gambler that he did not want to leave the tables even for meals. He slapped meat on bread and continued gambling. The meal became a habit and the meal was named after him. Sandwiches are a simple and nutritious portable meal. They can be made of anything that will fit between two pieces of bread. The bread may be anything that is relatively dry such as tortillas, pita, or even broad leaf lettuce. The advantage of a sandwich concoction is that it involves no silverware and does not require a dish from which to eat. While the traditional sandwich involves a meat filling, current trends include any type of protein, including nuts, nut butters, fish, beans, or poultry. Because of the ease of preparation, they are a favorite of the thrifty minded lunch maker. Since experimentation is a good thing, try making a cheese and pineapple sandwich or peanut butter and banana sandwich. Both are nutritious and with a glass of milk are complete meals.
It depends on which state you are in. In Delaware there is no sales tax whatsoever. In New Jersey you are charged 7% sales tax whenever you buy food from a restaurant but you aren't charged when you buy food from a grocery store. Other states may have a sales tax all the way across the board including groceries.
To make a pinwheel sandwich, you take long strips of sliced bread (sliced on the horizontal) Put spread on them ie egg salad, and roll the bread up like a yule log. Many people put pickles along the bread at the starting point of the rolling. That way, when you finish your yule log shape, and slice it into 1/2 inch sandwiches, they will look pretty, with a green pickle in the centre and the egg salad in the spiral. Also good to use is peanut butter, with a banana as your centre.
Arby's uses a caramelized onion roll for their most popular sandwiches which can usually be found in the bakery. Other options include a potato bread roll which I have found make excellent Arby clones. Next, you will need the beef. Any thin sliced variety from the deli department will work. I like to use the Oscar Meyer brands, but also have been known to go straight to the butcher and get my meats fresh sliced. Next, cheese is a big issue. They use something like a nacho cheese sauce, which I have substituted with my favorite Tostado's nacho cheese dip. Lastly, and optionally, throw a dab of tomato based BBQ sauce in with the cheese. YUM!
Boxed Food. You mean Canned Food............RIGHT! Do not buy Canned Food. It gets spoiled in about 4 days and fresh is just healthier and the taste in more natural. 4 days Man. I live in a family of 4 and I will take us more then a millennium to finish a can of soup. lol! Hope that answers your Question. To be more exact, 128 hours, 56 minutes, and 1890.7 seconds.

White Castle burgers continue to soar in national popularity. While there are not as many White Castle locations as years past, the franchise has attained millions of loyal fans and customers. Over the years, their burgers have also changed in price. In fact, one slider was just 25 cents back in the 70's and 80's. Today, a hamburger or cheeseburger will cost you 69 to 86 cents.
In a typical pound of hamburger there is anywhere from 60-80 grams of protein. If you get ground chuck, then it's 80-100 as it's a leaner meat.
I don't have any evidence for this claim, but I'm pretty sure it's German. Pickled bologna is often referred to in the Midwest as "a Michigan thing". It's roots in Michigan culture come from Koegel's Meats - a meat company started by a German man who immigrated to the US and then to Flint, MI. Koegel's has been around for 100 years and they are responsible for pickled bologna madness that Michiganders have become known for.
I don't think there is one. But i think you can use any.
Looking in the internet I found that the inside of the bread is called, the "crumb". Not to be confused with the little pieces of bread, known as crumbs. Hope this helps! :) Melinda.
By far the best condiments to put on cheese sandwiches is either mayonnaise, honey mustard, or ranch. Yes folks believe it or not Ranch tastes good on most things. Try it sometimes!
A pound is 16 ounces. Try thinking a little.
Anyway, it's a pound and a quarter, so...five into twenty is four. Four sandwiches per pound. Five sandwiches in 20 ounces. Four ounces per sandwich.
20 sand/5lbs=4sand per lb.
16oz. /4 sand=4oz. per sand.
20oz./4oz.=5 sandwiches
In all out sales, here in the land of McDonalds, Buger King, Wendy's, Carl Jr's/Hardee, Jack-In-The-Box, Dairy Queen, Whataburger, Sonic, Culver's and A&W's, the hamburger in all of it's many guises is probably the front runner.
Although, Hormel Foods (the land of Skippy peanut butter), and J.M. Smucker (home of Jiff) claim that PB&J are second only the ham. Their statistics might bear some weight: 75% of US household purchase peanut butter, 1500 PB&J sandwiches are eaten by the averge American student from kidergarten to graduation, the average US citizen eats 3 pounds of peanut butter a year (someone is not pulling his weight--I go through about a pound a month).
Another contender, believe it or not, is Spam. Yep that ubiquitous, spiced ham treat in a can. With two plants (one in Nebraska the main plant in Minnesota) cranking out roughly a half million cans a day, the company produces 328,615,425 cans of tasty Smeat a year (that's right, over 328.5 million cans); nearly enough for one can per person in the US. Hold the phone though. Most of Hormel's yummy goodness in a pull-top can goes to Hawaii, Guam, and the Marianna Islands where it is appreciated most. Spam is even served at Burger King and McDonalds in Hawaii.
One last point to make here. Where hamburgers, PB&J, and Spam all have claims for the title, the lowly grilled cheese might edge them out. Who cannot say they have not enjoyed two slices of your favorite bread with a couple slices of individually wrapped American cheese melted between them? And, grilled cheese wears almost as many masks as the hamburger.
Personally, I like smoked gouda, Munster, and American grilled on San Fransisco sourdough, toasted with butter. Mmm mmm mmm mmm m. Now I made myself hungry.
Oh, that ham sandwich, you have to decide for yourself. There is no US Department of Sandwich Consumption, no clearinghouse on sandwich data, and no one really tracks what we Yankees put the most between bread. What we do know is that we eat a lot of bread and a greater amount of red meat--pork being the largest single type at 40% (according to a 2002 USDA report). That alone might give a little credence to the title going to Spam.
A round sandwhich is also known as a bagle .They bagle originated in America and is still very popular to this day.Traditional fillings include ham ,cheese, pickle, and relishes.
The average turkey sandwich may have about two oz. of turkey (8 servings per lb.). However, some might consider that excessive, others might consider that skimpy, everyone has their own preferences. A lot is dependent on how hungry the person is, what else you are putting on the sandwich (lettuce, tomato, etc.), how thick the bread or roll, and perhaps, your budget per sandwich. When it comes to fresh roasted turkey, there's no such thing as too much turkey on the sandwich.
Well, I don't know the best comeback, but if you're not going to make that sandwich..... IDK, for love situations it seems like you should just make the sandwich, but I'm not with that. lol
You could say, "I'm not your maid," "make your own," "no thanks." Just think about it a bit, you could even say, "You have legs." There are many possibilities, but being mean isn't always the best way to go.
what pieces of equipment are part of the sandwich unit
The length of time a hamburger will take to cook depends on its thickness and cooking method. Thinner burgers will cook more quickly, whereas thicker burgers will take longer.
If you have a 1/3 lb patty 4" across of even thickness and a hot grill, you can cook for 5-6 min on each side for an overcooked hamburger (also called "well done" in restaurants).
