Sears first began in 1886 as the R.W. Sears Watch Company in Minneapolis, MN. Sears hired Roebuck in 1887, moved his company to Chicago, and in 1893 the corporate name of the firm became Sears, Roebuck and Co. At that time, all sales were done by mail-order from a catalog. The first store was opened in the Chicago mail-order plant in 1925 and was so successful that seven more stores were opened in the area by the end of that year.

Sears sold the "Allstate" for some years, but no photos seem to have surfaced.

You have to call the store you work at. Doesn't make any sense considering the way the automated system works. If the store is closed you can't leave a message. Meaning if you work at 7am and your store doesn't open until 10am you're going to be in trouble because you could get hold of anyone within the two hours you're supposed to in order to let someone know or leave a message.

As far as I know the 583.24 was Not recalled... 583.21 were... Bad metallurgy would cause the bolt to break and shoot out backwards towards the shooters face.. Also there is a number to call sears... they will verify your model number and let you know how to send it in if there is a recall...... my info was obtained from here.....
