What is the value and age of a Sears Roebuck Ted Williams model 100 30-30 lever rifle serial number no 278.532104?

The Ted Williams name was used by Sears from 1961 to c. 1988. The 278 prefix on the Sears product number (it's not a serial number) seems to indicate a gun manufactured in Canada by Cooey, but I can't find an exact cross reference for this number. The best way to set a price on a retailer-branded gun is to go to Walmart or a sporting goods store and find the new price on a similar gun. Figure your used gun is worth from 1/2 to 3/4 as much, depending on condition.

What is the value and age of a Sears Roebuck Ted Williams model 100 30-30 lever action rifle serial number V104644?

Not highly valued at this time. About the same as a standard Winchester model 94 of the same age and condition, because that's what it is.

When did Sears and Roebuck go out of business?

In 1980, Sears, Roebuck and Co. announced the formation of a corporate office and plans for major restructuring. This resulted in renaming the retail business the Sears Merchandise Group and the insurance business Allstate Insurance Group in early 1981. When Sears acquired the Dean Witter Reynolds Organization, Inc. and Coldwell Banker & Company later that year, it formed the Dean Witter Financial Services Group and the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group. The following year, Sears formed a world trading company. It became Sears World Trade, whose activities were reduced and transferred to the Sears Merchandise Group in 1986.

What is the value of a 16 gauge Sears and Roebuck 102.25 shotgun?

I don't really know, but I recently bought the 102.25 16 ga in excellent condition from a private gun show seller for $200. I have an eye for old, rare, and know what works, and this one is an awesome example of all! It has an 18.25in barrel, light wear on the magazine, and near perfect wood. I heard from another site that these guns (#102.25 12 and 16 ga) are valued anywhere from $380 to $500 depending on condition, as they are considered Pre WWII rarities. E-

What is the value of a Sears Model 54 rifle number 273.811?

The value of a given used firearms is determined primarily by its condition. As such, your question cannot be answered with any degree of accuracy. It is possible, though, to quide you in the right direction. The Sears M# 54 was nothing more than a Winchester M# 94 made to Sears specification. Although I don't remember ever seeing one I assume this means that it was made to meet a cost goal and as such I'm sure a lower grade of wood and finish is how they would accomplish this.

Any large book store carries firearms price guides, usually in the sporting book section, which can assist you in this regard. You would need to match-up your exact model & caliber with the the Winchester duplicate, determine the condition as indicated by that book and then subtract say 25% (a guess on my part) fron the value given because it does not have the Winchester name on it. You must also keep in mind that most of these price guides quote a price that you might expect to pay at a gun shop for that firearm.
