Yes, just not in the same way as traditional Christianity. Rather than believing hell to be some place underground where souls of the dead lost are continuously burning, Ellen White and Seventh Day Adventists believe that hell/the lake of fire is going to be an event in the end times. Since they believe in soul sleep, they don't believe that anyone is in either heaven or hell, they are just asleep, awaiting resurrection. But in the end God will rain down fire to destroy the current Earth and all unrepentant sinners. The wicked will be killed in the fire (and it's called the "second death" where there will be no hope of resurrection), not kept alive and burned for all eternity.

The ONLY teachings adventists follow is the Bible. EG Whites teachings are all based exactly from the bible...there is nothing she says that is not taught in the Bible. Im not sure where you are getting your info from

The number of Adventists who believe in Ellen White must be fairly large, especially since the church as an institution holds her in high regard. It would not be surprising if the number were lower in the US than in other countries, for example, but it is safe to say that most Adventists outside the US believe in her. I would guess that the worldwide percentage is somewhere around 85% or more. Many Adventists would be surprised by the question, assuming that all Adventists believe in her. Many have been brought to the church through her writings. Critics and skeptics of her within the church have always been in the minority.

The Seventh Day Adventist Church began in New Hampshire in 1844. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) began in upstate New York in 1830. So the Mormons came first. Mormon church headquarters had moved to Nauvoo, Illinois by the time the Seventh Day Adventist Church was formed.

A Seventh Day Adventist can go to the beach on Sabbat. They cannot work at a paid job or on their property. They can go to the beach as long as they keep God in mind. That is what this day of rest is for.

I think a man that is saved wouldn't choose to be lost. If he did, I don't think he was actually saved to begin with. The bible doesn't deny they were moving in Jesus' authority. I think you can still move in the gifts of the spirit without being saved.

The bible also says Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. If God writes you are saved, then that is what you are.

Lol --- i'm an Adventist and we do eat pizza!! From my life long experience of being an adventist, the majority of us don't eat "unclean meat" - pig, most seafood, etc. some will eat beef, chicken, salmon, tuna, or turkey types of meat. Some adventist are vegetarians, so no meats but they still eat dairy (then they could have a regular vegetarian pizza or just cheese pizza), some adventists are indeed vegan, then you could get a vegan pizza since that would mean thry don't eat cheese.

The Nicean Creed is a creed of the Catholic Church. Seventh-day Adventists do not have any creed except for the Bible. It seems very unlikely, since the church was only formed in the late 1800's and the US existed for about a hundred years before that.

It is also important to note that the Seventh-day Adventist Church advocates a healthy lifestyle, of which one aspect is vegetarianism, but it is not a requirement for membership. However, the church does say that if someone wishes to eat meat, that they eat only clean meat (as defined in the Bible).
